The motor is diagnosed as working and it’s a wiring issue. Can you buy a replacement boot lid grommet and wiring to replace the factory wiring if the issue is due to wire fatigue from running? Currently pulled the fuse to stop it annoying me!

Just checked my flap and it doesn’t show the spare on the sticker. Also only shows 17” and 18” tyre pressures even though the spare is 16”. Looks like the factory spare option was ticked looking at the original invoice.

I did that and the light went off. RTFM I guess!

Does the space saver fit the VRS? What is the rim size and ET? Just switched to 16’s following your advice and much more comfy but want to use a space saver for the spare to give me more storage space.

Can a second set of sensors be fitted to another set of wheels? If so do you need to use specific sensors and how do you connect them to the TPMS system? Or how do you disable the TPMS system if you don’t have sensors fitted? Thanks!

Forgot to say this is for a VRS - I have the full size steel as the spare.

If it’s low current required (<10amp) use a piggy back fuse from the cabin fuse board 😊

Euro Car Parts has a range. Wonder if a eBay generic would be good as it’s half the price of ECP.

Is it the same in both modes? When putting my foot to the floor there is a second or pause but once going it’s fine.

Thanks. I get the wipe in reverse. It just seems to sweep too many times. Is there a limit switch or anything which would make it continue to sweep if the arm doesn’t hit the switch? If it’s the stalk arm then everything else seems to work.

Know about the crazy wiper operation but how many times should it sweep when you push the lever back once? mine gets stuck then carries on for 12 sweeps or so. garage checked out the motor and no water leak etc. any idea what else could be going on or is this normal operation? cheers!

cheers should I keep with ET50 or any of the above ok to use on a VRS? Only ask there is a £12/rim price difference. assume the larger the offset the nearer the wheel goes to the edge of the arch sorry for the basic questions!

Good point - she is due a 100k mile service soon so will ensure the pollen filter is done as well 👍

Had it regassed - it was missing 30% or so of refrigerant gas volume so hope it improves its performance.

Over wide speed bumps it is fine and smooth so think it is the low profile tyres and large rims 😞 Will ET50 steels fit over the VRS brakes?

No idea - bought the car used and nothing in the documents about it being done. Does give an odd smell at times so could be running low.
