As the title really. I have a window with sun shades on that were jameed into the frame after I forgot that the rear windows drop too 🤦‍♀️ Is there a way of choosing the windows which drop on the long key press? Or, can I do it through Obd11? Thanks.

They seemed to subjectively but I can't say for certain as I didn't measure objectively and it's hard to get the exact conditions everytime I drive to be certain. I feel as though they did and I'd be happy to do it again if I ever swapped cars and I'll add more in different places when I get chance.

Mine seems also to be a bit out to the left too. Do we think the steering angle sensor is something we can rectify through Obd11 after an alignment?

I'd like some option for mine which doesn't even have the button on the ACC stalk. Following this thread like a hawk 🤣

I'm sure there are problems with both washer units tbh but this seems poor. It's probably not easy to access stuff too, I've loads of room on my early 00's MG ZS. Even the V6 has room around it to work where the VAGs are a squeeze for everything. If you do have a few pics that would be great and I'll evaluate from there. A trip to a breakers should turn up a motor.

Can they be swapped for an A6 avant wiper arm with the washer included?

Is this on a saloon or a estate? I only see the one fan shaped hole on my estate. I also took the panel off inside but couldn't make much of the piping and couldn't get to the bit where it attaches.

As the title suggests really. I feel like the rear washer jet leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the water is used to clean the right of the screen and as such the left portion, especially the bottom left is left streaky and dirty. New wiper blade did a little to help clearing. Tbh. I turn them all way down at night along with the footwell lights off. Too distracting. It'd be nice to be able to have them dim with the darkness automatically

I'm not sure I have a limiter button on my 16reg🤔

Follow up for my keys, Tuts out, two of the three keys were for a completely different car so I now have two new silver keys under warranty, all coded and kessy working. Pleased with that as it would have cost a lot to sort it myself!

Follow up on this. It was a faulty lock module so that got replaced. Under buyer's warranty.

Thanks. I love a bit of diy tinkering but I'm not sure I'll be able to swing my other half around to letting me swap a turbo and injectors unfortunately. I have my project car so I'll let that get the fun tuning. I'll have a look at getting the 190 and being happy with it 😂 I'd have loved to be able to have justified one of the tsi engines. But I needed it to be practical and reliable and I'd have got way too carried away with one 😅

So I had a look through the tuning section.m and quite frankly it's dead there so thought I'd ask in the next best place. I have the CR150 engine and I'm now envious of the gains above the 200bhp mark from the 170/190 engines. Are they really all that much different and I can get it mapped up there Or am I just out of luck for buying the one I have. Cheers

I did this once from Cumbria to Norwich in my V6 ZS. Dull as and only got me 26MPG to boot 😂

OK. I'll have to get a video sorted of both of my issues to send to the dealer. The constant actuation must be linked to that drivers rear lock not actually locking and it keeps trying to do it. Thank you 👍

Yeah it seems to, as soon as I'm below 10mph or so. My other half has commented on how annoying it is having them click away. Seems like there is a general fault. I'm guessing normal is locked until door opening after actuating above 10mph.

Nice one, I'll get on the phone to them. I'm hoping that it will be able to be sorted from up my end than have to take it back down. Perils of buying from further afield I guess. I'll have a play with the rest of the stuff for locking then. See if that works for it until we can get it sorted. I'm honestly not surprised they wear out with all the locking and unlocking that goes on around 10mph. Cant get out of the estate without it having actuated 15+times

Hey. Noticed today that the drivers side rear door doesn't central lock. It is fine using the in-door locking (next to, but not, the child lock) Is there a quick fix I can try before I try to get the dealer (1hr45mins) away to honor their "30 day warranty"? I'm happy to take door cards off etc to have a look at things.

I'll bet they both unlocked the doors though 😂

The only one that functions is the chrome. The blade from this does not work. The others had dead batteries and they don't work with a new battery as the blades won't unlock to sync.

It's got one with silver/metal trim which is a different key profile from two full black plastic keys with identical profiles. None of which turn the lock. I'll try the passengers side and see if there is a tumbler there. The other two keys were dead so can't get them to sync now.
