  1. This is the one I recently fitted to mine on my preFL VRS (MQB CAM A) - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000230897829.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allProduct.8148356.2.1cfe1284Jh7V8B&pdp_npi=3%40dis!GBP!£42.66!£32.95!!!!!%4021038edf16855758245143820e5114!12000030861906206!sh!UK!3692179596 Straight plug and play without any need for coding. Also didn't get hit by customs charges either - delivered earlier than expected by EVRI as well.
  2. Didn't follow your steps as I've been following mr-fix for a while. Bit the bullet tonight and did the patch and was very surprised that it worked right out the box - initially thought I would have to do swap/fec codes but nope, CP/AA/ML right out the box after it rebooted. Happy days. FYI, mine is a MIB2 with NAV (5Q0035874B) and firmware 0359.
  3. This video helped me with mine:

This one has KESSY too.
  5. Gonna throw my 2c in here too. I was recently in the same position as you - wanted an Octy VRS with manual/heated seats/sat nav/folding mirrors. I test drove one that didn't have the toys I wanted but it was a good indication of what the car was like and what to look out for (the one I looked at wasn't as new and had less toys and was similarly priced - it also had quite a bit of rust in certain places which was a bit concerning). I too also had a £12k budget but I also had a part ex. of my old vehicle so all in was ~£15k. I struggled to find one for weeks until one popped up suddenly and it had all the toys I wanted + some more (auto-dim mirrors, very low mileage, 2017 registered) within my budget. It was a long drive away (9 hours round trip 😁) but checked it out and it was all in good nick with no issues. Basically, my advice would be to keep checking, I was checking every day to see if any new ones appeared and it so happened the one I got came up one day and I was on the phone within minutes to book an appointment. There was one recently that would've fit your budget (£14k but seller was open to neg.) but looks like its been sold - located in Devon, manual, meteor grey, it had the heated seats and sat nav but also had keyless and front radar.
  6. Hi Pab, can you send me the latest for mine please?
  7. I saw this one as well whilst I was hunting for one - seems to come with a lot of toys too.
  8. Hi there. Just picked up my VRS. First time Octavia owner here coming from a Civic Type S (space ship) - suspension and power is like night and day.
