Thanks pete I'm not able to take the panel of yet but as soon as i do i will let you know, I'm not sure if its worth buying some replacement switches as the rocker mechanism could be worn, on ebay i can only see mk2 window switches, will these fit a mk1 ?

thanks guys I'm not sure if i should use the coded rattle cans or use my spray gun with basecoat and lacquer, surely the cans pre mixed will be suitable ?

My sons fabia has a drivers door that does not lock with the key fob or manually inside. Ive read about faulty solenoids etc but thought i would ask you guys before stripping the door down. My son only realised yesterday that we bought this for him so hopefully we can work on it together until he passes his test, fingers crossed

The lower front bumper grille on my sons fabia has been damaged and needs replacing, the new item has been purchased but wondered if there are any guides on how to replace this .. thanks guys

I have an issue with the rear seat of my sons fabia mk1,directly behind the drivers seat the tab in the seat upright that enables the rear seats to go down has snapped, any ideas as to if this can be replaced ?

Ive a few issues with my sons Fabia and will post different issues separately, the issue with the windows are strange, the drivers and passenger window all work but sometimes a down press can actually send the window up,, the passenger window switch only works going up but the drivers button works to lower it. the drivers side window works fine but also has a tendency to go up when pressed down and sometimes it goes right up then comes down on its own. Ive read a long thread regarding windows but could not seem to find the problem listed above, any pointers guys ?

Hi Guys great forum cant wait to start using this over the next few months, Ive just purchased a Skoda Fabio 1.2 2006 for my sons 18th,we will be carrying out some jobs on it in over the coming months, which includes some body work electrical issues and general servicing, however before we start purchasing i would like to know how i can confirm that its a mk1,i'm also after the correct colour match as the sticker inside the front drivers door has been removed. any help would be appreciated
