  1. After 3 software updates I thought it was gone. Even have the mighty ver. 1941. POP POP back with new message: Emergency Call Activated.
  2. Had car updated to 1941 by dealership just over a week ago. No issues until right now. Currently driving in France from UK and cruising along the motorway and then...... Loud POP! POP! from the speakers and followed by 'Emergency Call Activated' on dashboard screen. FFS. So bloody fed up with this car.
  3. Just got car back from dealership. They've installed 1941 so looks like it's live for them now.
  4. Would like to hop on the 1941 train too if possible? Still got warranty but would like to have it just in case they refuse in future.
  5. Well My POP POP sound came back this week but with a parking error this time. 3 reboots in one short drive and a brand new issue. Reversed the car and the sensors produce the proximity beeps. However, they didn't stop, even after driving off. Turned engine off and back on - still beeping away as if I was about to collide with something. Could stop the beeping by turning the infotainment off. Turn it back on and beeping resumes. Also had car go into Limp Mode. Fixed itself when started the car the next day. Are we sure these cars aren't running on Windows ME? Car booked in for 3rd July. Driving through France on the 12th. God help me.
  6. Well. Didn't think this would be back but here I am. POP POP is back this week after months of it fixed. Or so I thought.
  7. I cannot believe this!! POP! POP! is back for me 😔 I thought that was one of the issues that was well and truly in the past.
  8. Goes from bad to worse. Start stop failure last week which hasn't resolved. Maybe connected but car has trouble starting now and takes a couple of attempts before it starts. Car is booked in for this next month along with the infotainment rebooting that wasn't fixed despite Skoda telling me it was last time the car was in and they did a 'Software update'. Trim throughout car falling off or detaching. 3rd piece happened this week. Yesterday, car went into Limp Mode with 'Error: Drive System - Please visit workshop' whilst driving home from shopping. Drove it at 10mph for last mile of that journey home. Drive it today and limp mode gone and no drive system error. I'm driving to France next month and can't trust this car to make it whatsoever. This car throws up so many errors that disappear after a restart that I never know which one is real. I just want these issues fixed or I want rid. Only had the car for 8 months but it's had various faults and issues that entire time.
  9. Just got mine back from Skoda after getting a software 'update' to apparently fix the rebooting. Of course it's still doing it. I think they just clear the codes and so nothing just to get me out the door again. Now Start Stop system failure too. Joy. Really fed up with this car. It's been in 4 times now and it's an hour and a half round trip for me. BTW, anyone had issues with the plastic trim where the seatbelt enters by the door? Had the drivers side fixed a while back because it detached and wouldn't clip back in and today the passenger side has detached and also won't clip back in! Non stop issues. I just feel sad every time I drive it.
  10. Quick update. Mine went in for second time to have software update to fix the POP POP SOS issue, infotainment rebooting/ stuck on loading etc. They told me that it would 'definitely' fix the issue this time. Had it back for 2 weeks now and went away driving 8hrs for holiday and not a single issue then or since. Software is 1896. Here's hoping. I also realised that the vibration noise was not coming from the dashboard or the binnacle area at all. It was coming from the steering wheel. Skoda obviously didn't really look into it when I originally took it in They have confirmed this now and as it's coming from the vicinity of the airbag module and this a possible safety issue they are going to replace the airbag and ensure everything is tight and secure under warranty. If that works then the car may finally be as it should be.

  12. The dealer said it's coming from behind the binnacle. It's just not standard vibration like a slightly loose plastic trim etc.
