  1. Will get it checked out.....Cheers
  2. My 2016 Skoda Superb has just started hesitating to start (few seconds) before starting.....Once engine starts warning lights come on for ECS, auto brake (that thingo that holds car when stopping at lights) and a few others. Starting is worse if car lights and aircon are on.... Had to drive 300km after this happened and car drove perfect minus no cruise control and the functions effected by warnings. Battery was changed in 2023 February and have mainly done short drives around town.... Cleared faults with OBD11 and then it repeats starting heaitation and then warning lights on with next start... Any thoughts? Cheers
  3. Fine without in Australia and USA 🙏
  4. I have the exact same issue. 2017 Skoda Superb Bi-Xenon headlights. Right side DRL went yellow and now the bottom longer stripe is hardly visable. Left side is now yellow too and dying slowly. The smaller side part of the DRL is still bright on both sides. Had Skoda do test on the right side when it was dying. Full replacement of headlights required. $1600 per headlight. I just bought an OBD11 and used the preset coding to activate the option to turn on the menu to allow turning off the DRL's. Once the headlights activate at night though the DRL's automatically come back on again which is annoying. Once the left side bottom DRL strip burns out completely as well, will reactivate the DRL menu and live with only the side DRL strip on both headlights.
  5. Thanks for the tip...I'll give the tap a go...Cheers
  6. Exactly right. Noticed after car wash it has stopped the creaking. Now just have to work out how to lubricate the exterior chrome to stop the noise permanently. Cheers
  7. Hi Everyone, My 2017 Skoda Superb has recently developed an annoying creaking/rattle noise on the left side interior between the front and rear doors when driving. Initially appeared to be around the passenger seatbelt unit, but on further inspection it seems to be coming from either the front door or rear (front section) on the passenger doors. Keen to know your thoughts to sort the noise, as can hear the darn thing even with the stereo on 😀 Cheers
  8. Unfortunately Skoda dealer checked the DRL control module and advised its the light unit itself. Replacement of whole light unit required. Not a massive fan of shelling out 2k ish just to fix a drl stripe. Ordered an OBD11 Pro and going to disable the DRL's and wait for a kangaroo to crack into the front of my car on a country road. Then will fix it under insurance 😅
  9. That's amazing 🙂 Think it may be a bit beyond my skill-set, but my brother in law will love it! Cheers
  10. Thanks JR RS 🙂 I'll track one down online. Is it a easy job to remove the headlight to switch over the LED driver?
  11. Funny enough the indicator is working fine... Cheers on the part number...I'll do some searching. 👍
  12. No worries and thanks for the reply...Will see if I can source a 2nd hand one 👍
  13. Hi Everyone, The passenger side front DRL on my 2016 Skoda Superb has recently lost its brightness and is only partially visible (only at night). They are the L shape DRL's (see photo) and its the longer strip at the bottom that is not working properly. Had the car scanned by the dealer ($255) and have been informed that the entire headlight needs replacing at a cost of $1650AUD + labor. My car does not have the option to turn them off in the infotainment screen and the dealer informed me that they cannot be turned off under Australian law. I don't have any VCDS software but have played around with it on a previous car. Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙂
