  1. Hello Warrior193, thank you for that. I was moderately surprised at the size of the estimates I’ve been receiving. I think the parts weigh in at around £1000 using OEM. So I guessed at about £2000 all in. What do I know. I live nearby Brighton so if that’s Ashtead (Leatherheadish) then yes it’s well within range. Where is Vagtek please. Google gives me one in Waterlooville. I would like a Mk2 Superb. However, if £4000 is the price for what is essentially a service schedule job; then I will start looking at 2.0 tdi models.
  2. Getting estimates generally around £4000 to replace timing chains, water pump and ancillaries. Is this realistic or a “go away” price? If anyone knows where the job can be done well and cheaper please advise.
  3. Does this mostly affect the panoramic roof or is the smaller sunroof equally prone to leaking? If also the latter is there a known fix? Other than not having one.
  4. Regrettably they responded to my query stating that offer no retrofits for a Mk2 3.6. Have to inquire elsewhere.
  5. I live in West Sussex so somewhere near there would be preferred; however, I am prepared to travel for any of the services. Are these dealer workshop or specialist services? Some feedback on practicality and worth of each item will be appreciated. Also approximate cost if known, although that is not the paramount consideration. I’m looking in Unicornland for a 3.6 v6. Surprisingly, considering this was a showcase model, these features were not standard across all of the cars. 1) Front parking sensors. 2) Heated windscreen. 3) Heated rear seats.
  6. Interested in buying a Superb 3.6 v6 4x4 if anyone is interested in selling. I would prefer a facelift hatchback. However, any variant considered as there probably not many available. Also any advice welcomed.
