  1. Cheers for the reply, much appreciated thanks 👍
  2. If when you've checked your motor, you have no power, after checking fuses and the basics first, check the wiring harness between the boot and car, possibly near where your washer pipe is. There is a service bulletin relating to rear wiper failure, washer failure, and high level brake light failure, on estates. May be worth a look if you still have no joy
  3. Hello all, I have a 2007 petrol octavia vrs estate. Over the last couple of weeks, it's developed the above mentioned intermittent issue. Everytime I get to put it on Odis its cleared itself typically. Coil packs and plugs were changed about 18 months ago. Tried swapping one over when it was dicking about last, and the code didn't move. Used NGK packs and plugs, so decent quality. Only tests I've managed to do whilst it's been faulting, is ignition test, although this doesn't simulate under load, but tested OK. PCV changed in between issues, because I had it, and been meaning to change it for a while. Its just faulted again tonight, so if it's still faulting tomorrow, I'll try and get a look again. Only codes are the P0301 and 04, for the two cylinder misfires. Anyone had any intermittent issue like this before?
  4. Cheers for the reply, going to try this week to get some water around the top of the screen, and see if I can replicate the leak.
  5. Hello all, Was hoping to use some of your knowledge on a water ingress issue I have with my 2007 vrs estate. Water tracks down the drivers lower a pillar trim, when it rains hard. Initially looked like it was running round the door, and past the seal. As the seal had seen better days, I changed both parts, as a matter of course, but have noticed the leak still present. It's a non sunroof model, and roof lining at the top of drivers a pillar seems damp also, so I'm thinking this only leaves me with either roof bars, or the windscreen. Just wondered if anyone here has had any issues or theory's before I go any further Thanks in advance
