  1. Incidentally, the kit is for dash cams with Mini USB port.
  2. I used this kit: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353801405857 Piggy-back adaptors for both size fuse are included.
  3. Well...ya live 'n' learn. 👍
  4. I had no need to bleed/prime filter. Remove Torx bolts. Prise off housing lid with something like a flat-blade screwdrIver (there's a small indentation/lip to insert prising tool to get started). Remove old filter from the pot, holding it above to allow any fuel to drain back into the pot (waste not...want not). Insert new filter, replace O-ring on lid (new one should be supplied with filter). Reposition lid and evenly press down into position (a relatively firm press required). Replace and evenly tighten Torx bolts. Job done. Pretty much as shown here: Housing lid looks different in this video, but procedure is the same.
  5. 2011 2.0 TDI... Air filter - £7.06 (Napa - Ebay) Fuel filter - £7.13 (Napa - Ebay) Oil filter - £6.72 (Napa - Ebay) Pollen filter - £7 odd (Can't recall brand - Halfords) Oil - £35.00 (Castrol Edge 5w30 - Halfords) Took me an hour or so. No 'specialist' tools required. 32mm socket (for the oil filter cap) is the only item not in the average socket set. Torx keys/bits for the air and fuel filter housings.
  6. I know it's an old old thread but, peelable rubber paint would work for replicating the missing sections. I've used this with excellent results: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rust-Oleum-AE0476150UK-Spray-Paint-Black/dp/B01HQ12MG0/ref=asc_df_B01HQ12MG0/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309950300084&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16953527329737814866&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007440&hvtargid=pla-784072974192&psc=1&th=1&psc=1 Lasted seven years, on the lower front spoiler of a Mk4 Astra. (Actually, it outlasted the car 😐). Finish is matt black, with a rubberised feel.
