Brilliant thread the advice worked a treat for me today, Thank you but, fan still not working. Is there a way to take the fan out without removing the dashboard ? I'm booked in tomorrow to get it done and my mechanic friend doesnt have a clue .....

Replaced resistor and still no joy on heater. If anyone can shed any light on how to remove the fan. See image as the fan is behind the penholder or does the whole dashboard have to come out?

Found this online, it would suggest R10 which is the x-control relay?....just making sure before i goto the motorfactors near me tomorrow https://fuseandrelay.com/skoda/fabia-2.html

So basically, replace fuse #39 just incase it's gone bad and possibly the relay?

Hi guys, i have a RHD 07 Fabia 2 1.4 TDi and i have an issue with the heater blowers in the car as the suddenly stopped working, there is no power at all so its not the resistor as i know it would only work on number 4. Checked the fuse (no. 39) and its ok. Is there something else i am missing or haven't checked? is it definitely the fan thats failed? Thanks in advance.

Hi guy's i'm new to the forum, recently bought a really nice Mk1 Fabia Estate and i'm looking for ideas on where to place the speakers in the car. There is no rear solid parcel shelf as it's the roller blind type so this makes it impossible to drop a couple of sets of 6x9's in there. Amp's i'm pretty much sorted with, headunit i've already got, same with subs etc. Secondly the door speakers in the front are vibrating like crazy (they are getting ripped out anyway) but, i want to pre-order speakers but i don't know the size or shape of them etc and will i need speaker pods? Thirdly Is it possible to install speakers in the rear doors? Thanks in Advance.
