Skoda Fabia MK2 bits (dog guard, sun visor blank panel, manual, sun shades & climate control cover)
I no longer own a Skoda so I am getting rid of my spares. I am open to offers on all this suff. I can do a bundle deal with stuff or a set price for the lot. Ideally I would like this to be collected from Liversedge West Yorkshire. I can post but the dog guard might be a bit more due to its size. I could also deliver for a beer or a bit of fuel money depending on where. Official Skoda Fabia MK2 dog guard. I never fitted the mount as I used zip ties to my headrest and it worked fine. These go for around £160 new from Skoda. I am asking about £50. Haynes manual £10, OEM Sunglasses blanking panel £5 Car shades full kit for the Fabia MK2 estate these go for around £80 https://www.carshades.co.uk/shades-skoda-fabia-estate-full-rear-p-3930.html. Never used in my ownership. Would like around £30 for these. I also have the centre vents but I do not have a picture of them currently. Chuck us £10 for them

VRS MK2 2012 Low compression
Hello all. My car has run into some issues (again). Previously my exhaust valves had to be replaced and my head needed skimming. Now I have new issues. 64k miles 2012 Fabia VRS with the revised engine. CEL and EPC light on. Very lumpy and misfiring. Replaced sparkplugs. No change. Did a compression test, extremely low compression on cylinders 2 and 3. What is the potential issue here and what would be the potential costs? I have done some research and it could either be piston rings or cracked pistons. Is there anyone in West Yorkshire that could recommend a place to get it looked at or a specialist. Is it worth repairing? It seems that these engines are cursed. Many thanks all.

Wow, this forum is ultra quiet!
Yeah. I joined the forum in the hopes of going to meet ups and shows with people and there hasn't been a single meet this entire year. There was talks of one but thats as far as it got. I came from Japanese car ownership to Skoda as I needed an estate and the Japanese car scene is fantastic.

Wow, this forum is ultra quiet!
There aren't many fun Skoda drivers left anymore. It's middle aged/old people who just do basic things and enjoy the car for what it is. They wont touch a forum. Then there are the MK1 vrs drivers which most of them wont use a forum and just do the PD130 death maps. This forum is well and truly dead and it saddens me.

I used castrol edge 5w 30 LL- VCDS near Leeds
Hello all. I was wondering if there is anyone near Leeds that would be able to assist me with some VCDS changes on my fabia VRS MK2. I was going to buy a carista but they don't offer the XDS option on there which I want. OBDeleven is too pricey for what it is. I mainly want: XDS Brake assist Change the units to MPH on maxidot Beep when alarmed Beep when unlocking Beep when locking Blink indicators when windows are put down by remote Tear drop wiping Maybe look at steering sensitivity I can do all of them on carista apart from XDS and brake assist Would be happy to pay or buy some beers etc- Cobra Monaco S Bucket Seat with adjustable rails and E46 mounts
Good spot added- Cobra Monaco S Bucket Seat with adjustable rails and E46 mounts
£80 Up for sale is a cobra monaco S bucket seat. I purchased this with full intent to fit into my car, however I changed my mind as it would mean having to remove an airbag. It is very sturdy as it has a steel frame. The previous owner had this installed into an E46 with some mounts he fabbed up. The seat comes with adjustable rails already installed and the E46 mounts. I just want what I paid for this. Cash on collection or I can deliver for a bit of petrol money.- Lofty's Sprint Yellow Fabia vRS Mk1 - "Project Daffodil"

Also is the mounting the same as the fabia mk1? From my research it seems to be- Fitting bucket seat questions
Hey everyone. Recently got a cobra monaco S seat to replace my drivers seat as I have always wanted a bucket seat. I have a MK2 VRS and I was wondering if I could take the original seats off of the frame and put my bucket seat on the frame? I have been trying to do research but there is very little info. I know to remove the seats I need a spline t10. I need to remove the negative terminal off of the battery to stop the airbags going off. I currently don't have a subframe on the bucket seat, I have the rails which lets me adjust it forwards and backwards. Can I just retrofit on the original VRS subframe or do I need to order a new subframe or are there any universal subframes I can use. For reference my cobra monaco S is base mounted, not side mounted.- Cars with nice backdrops...

Would you split the android auto head unit, MOMO steering wheel with boss and quick release. Could you take some pics of the android head unit and how much would the stuff above be?- The "why didn't it come with this?" Fabia project
Excellent thread so far! Really thinking about doing some of these easy stuff to mine.- 17'' Skoda Gigaro's x4 £300 ONO

It could be many things. Ideally get the fault code checked. Worse case scenario is the exhaust valves have gone (ask me how I know). This is common on these engines. The fuel will not have caued it. Also the whistling is normal.- How come this forum doesn't do meets or events anymore?
This one? https://www.carcalendar.co.uk/events/jap-vs-german/- How come this forum doesn't do meets or events anymore?
That Santa pod event was in 2015. That's forever ago. I know about Skoda fest but I couldn't make it and from the pictures I expected more of a turnout. There was the Skoda day at the motorist, however again I was working. I have been thinking about organising an event or something anyways. I just haven't got round to it yet.- Epc and engine light problem lead to limp mode
