Can anybody please provide any service info and location for a fuel filter on a 2020 Octavia 3 1.0 tsi petrol.

Local garage gave me a competitive price on interim service(basically an oil and filter change) and are offering the service with an engine flush.I read so many things about this, good and bad, but does anyone know the pros and cons of this?

Yep I completely agree and the filter was absolutely dirty to say the least and a new genuine filter has certainly improved my mpg substantially, cheers

Thanks for you replies. It’s a 2020 1.0 tsi manual with full Skoda history with just under 33k. Well this morning I inspected the air filter and it was absolutely filthy! And it’s obviously the original filter. I changed this myself and after a run got an instant increase in MPG. The air filter change intervals on these seem far to high in my opinion. Oh and I’m not 89 it’s the year I was born 😃 and I did raise the poor MPG with Skoda and got the usual must be your driving style and not DTCs are logged etc etc. You’d think inspecting the air filter would be a basic check and I’m 100% going to be raising this with the service department at my local dealer. Once again thank you all for your comments and input 🤙🏻👌🏻

My Octavia 3 1.0 tsi is getting around 40mpg around town/city driving and about 44mpg on motorway runs. Is it me or is the fuel gauge on this car designed in a way where you can actually see the gauge move slightly? 🤨 I think my mpg is way off what I should be getting after reading through the forums! Or am I paranoid after owning a Megane 3 1.5 dci that returned an amazing 60mpg? Or is something else going on like injector leaking or some other fuel issue, and by the way I’m using E5 right now. Thanks

Are these compatible with the hatchbacks or just the estate mkIII?

I can also confirm this issue, my account credentials are correct and the plug is connected but I still keep getting error message.

Hi all I recently purchased a 2020 octavia 3 1.0 tsi on and I am loving it so far BUT I’ve noticed when the engine is cold in the morning it seems to run at about 1500rpm for a little while and then settles back down to about 1000rpm? Is this normal? I’ve have heard on some cars that the wastegate fully opens to get the cat warm quickly? Is that what is happening here? Any help or input would be greatly welcomed.
