  1. I bought my VRS 245 estate almost a year ago to the day. First thing I did was a full service including the Diff. The Diff oil is pretty pricey, make sure the filter is removed and cleaned. I’d get the DSG done as well. Mine is the DQ381 which I think is scheduled for an oil and filter change at 80k but my VAG specialist recommends 40k. Mine is overdue and being done in 2 weeks. Mine has the carbon effect centre console and is pretty scratched as well. I’ll give it some attention at some point. I’ve also toyed with the idea of doing the reverse camera but not got round to it yet. Im having Eibach pro springs with full geometry, fast road setup etc done in July and also stage 1 ECU & TCU map. These map really well by all accounts and make good power with just the map. Ive also added turbo elbow, intake pipe and DIY air intake mod. I absolutely love mine. It’s quick enough, not hideous (but not great) on fuel, really comfortable and fits an enormous amount of things, people, kids, and dogs in it.
  2. Sorry, posted eBay link without seeing your eBay comment.
  3. I filled up today meaning I had my first properly measured tank since owning the car. 2019 vRS 245, completely standard. 38.7mpg. Lots of short trips. Probably only 100ish motorway miles. Costco 97 petrol. Pretty happy with that to be fair. I meant to check what the car said ‘since refuelling’ but completely forgot. Good car.
  4. The cupholders are tiny to be fair. The ones in my old Leon while not amazing, were much better. I have taken to putting my travel cup in the door storage area closest to the speaker. Fits nicely.
  5. A little update on this saga. Tyre with the puncture replaced without hassle. Unfortunately, Cazoo would only permit a budget which I kind of expected and I dropped a bit of a clanger not paying the extra to fit something decent. It was always my plan to run with whatever tyres were on the car for 12 months or so then fit 4 PS4’s anyway so we’re ok there. Other tyre with the cut turned out to be absolutely fine. Not really a cut at all and certainly not a problem. Car now fully serviced. Oil, Oil filter, Plugs, Air & Pollen Filters, Diff oil and brake fluid all done with the cost covered by Cazoo as well as a £100 goodwill gesture from them on top. I also replaced the electric windows switch with an £18 unit from Amazon. The plastic frame of the original had broke meaning the switch wouldn’t press properly. In fairness to Cazoo and particularly Kate who I have been dealing with, in the last week or so they have been great. Helpful and responsive which is all I could ask for really. Just a shame there were such issues in the first place. Time to enjoy the car now and to be fair, it’s a cracking car. Drove from the North West to Wembley for the National League playoff final on Saturday and it didn’t miss a beat at all during the 9 hours of driving I did. Very comfortable and capable on a long trip like that. 450 miles out of a tank as well! Spare wheel arrived today. Happy days.
  6. I actually think the theory behind Cazoo's model is pretty sound. Granted, it won't suit everyone as a car buying method but it will, and clearly does suit a lot of people. They are just getting the practice wrong, certainly in my experience anyway. It strikes me that they are ploughing way too many funds into advertising and sponsoring sporting teams and events when those funds would be much better spent actually making sure they do their 300 point checks, servicing vehicles and prepping them properly. They seem to be over promising and under delivering.
  7. Thanks! Hopefully all sorted soon and I can stop worrying and just get on with enjoying the car. In other Cazoo news, my old car has appeared on their website Here and despite it having full online service history, a fully stamped service book and me providing a folder of every receipt for everything I ever had done, they are listing it as no service history. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  8. Some positive movement. Kate has been helpful. Tyres to be sorted by Kwikfit (🤢) tomorrow and we have reached an agreement to reimburse me for getting the servicing up to date. Oil, filter, Diff oil and brake fluid. I have already done the air and pollen filters. light at the end of the tunnel.
  9. I managed to find the Customer Experience Director email address and emailed her earlier. Got a reasonably quick response from a Customer Advocacy Specialist, whatever one of those is. They are trying to say the service wasn't due as it was serviced at 30k so not due for another 20k. I do not think so.... Lets see how this goes.
  10. This is turning into a very unpleasant experience with Cazoo. Nobody will answer the phone. My emails have not been responded to for 3 days and the online chat operators offer nothing but assurances that someone will get back to me as soon as they can (Spoiler, they don't get back to you as soon as they can). I'm really tempted to reject the car but fully aware that that could also turn into a complete nightmare as well and that is without thinking about how we would cope with only one car while I source a replacement. Plus I really like it! Stress levels currently through the roof which I could really do without. 😢
  11. A spare is definitely top of the list already.
  12. I certainly will keep you posted! Thanks
  13. I won’t accept anything less than 2 front tyres and an interim service. I’ll push for brake fluid and Diff oil as well as fresh filters. Updates to follow!
