  1. I have a 2023 Karoq Sportline, I have registered the vehicle with my service dealer using my driving licence as required and had the automated emails telling me I'm now registered. I can use all of the functions in the connect app except one, possibly the most useful, it wont allow me to lock/unlock remotely. The app says i have to register using my driving licence at the dealers, Ive already done that! and got the confirmation emails, I have reinstalled the app on my Samsung Galaxy S20 but still no remote Lock/Unlock function. Anyone have any ideas.....oh, yes does anyone else find the geo-location function which is supposed to warn you if your car moves out of a certain area you have set for it absolutely useless...its so random, sometimes you get the warning days later...total crap?
  2. Is it possible to buy the vario boot floor from Skoda and drop it straight into a 2022 facelift Karoq sportline which does not have the vario floor? thank
  3. I was thinking of getting a scanner for my facelift Karoq, just in case anything comes up that needs diagnosing. The other thing is, are there any "hidden" enhancements I can "unlock" with such a device? I have a facelift 2022 Karoq Sportline and am aware of Warranty infringement blah blah so please don't reply banging on about that. thanks
  4. Thank you for the two brochures...it seems the only difference between a late 22 facelift model and a 04 23 facelift model is the admubdsen + package which includes wireless charging? The rest of the car including the front styling is the same, maybe different style wheels? Have I got that right? So they are claiming its the latest 23 spec when in fact its a late 22 spec? Thanks
  5. This an April 23 pre reg sportline with...allegedly the face-lift, it has a couple of hundred miles on it. I had a similar experience a few years ago with Mercedes, I ordered what was the latest iteration (facelift) of a C class, what I got was the older model with the face-lift options added, the issue is, when you come to change it further down the line, the value is less because its actually the older model, after it all getting very messy they took the car back.. so do you know if there were any bodywork changes that I can see to prove this is actually the latest facelift model and not the older one with bits added. Thanks
  6. Thanks for your post, I was concerned that putting a space saver on a 4wd driven axle might cause damage & yes I fully understand that you have to be much more cautious in driving with a space saver on.
  7. Hi, as far as I can see your comment is incorrect, wireless charging is listed as standard on the Sportline, I looked at Skodas official site this morning and picked up the brochure for the Sportline Karoq, see screen shot from the brochures. Not sure what's going on here. Some people have it and others dont. Thanks for your response anyway.
  8. thanks for all responses, however it clearly states the Sportline SHOULD have wireless charging as standard, so Im going back to the dealer and demand it otherwise they can have car back, it isn't my problem if they have parts shortages, I paid for it, I want it, or at least some compensation, as an optional extra its £500+...too many manufacturers copping out but still charging full price..and shrugging shoulders. thanks all
  9. Thank you for the prompt response, however my real question is .....is it ok to use a space saver wheel on any of the 4 wheels of a 4wd karoq...I see lots of responses about 2 wheel drive vehicles where people say if its the driven wheel, (front) on a 2wheel drive car that has the puncture, replace it with one of the back wheels and put the space saver on the non driven wheel..ie the rear, well if its a 4wd, the Sporttline for example...and they are ALL driven...what is the advice then??
  10. I am about to take delivery of an April 2023 reg karoq Sportline, it is supposed to be the new 2022 facelift version, seems to have all the rest but not this? every bit of information I read says this should have wireless phone charging as STANDARD, however there is no wireless charger and the cubby for the phone is small, wont even take a Samsung S20 lying down. Anyone come across this?
  11. Hi Ive just bought a 2023 karoq Sportline, which has standard seats, and no variable floor, so theres a lip when loading which can be a pain,, will this kit raise the boot floor?, and is it sort of a good fit/ looks like its supposed to be there? if it does i was going to buy a wheel separately. Thanks
  12. Hi, I've just purchased a 2023 Karoq Sportline, I want to buy a 19" space saver spare. is it ok to use a space saver on a 4wd? or are there caveats? or if there is not enough room in the boot for a 19" I'll buy an 18" spare space saver, it's the 4wd that Im not sure about. thanks
