According to skoda there is no specified interval for a timing belt change for the 1.2 tsi engines, however many countries' skoda forks will recommend differing things, most of the time they recommend replacement at about 5 years and i would say the max mileage to be about 120k between changes

Currently, there is TSH bulletins for the kamiq for both MIB (carplay faults) and OCU. It all depends on sw version and installed hardware whether they are applicable to your car though

Hi, If the fault B200049 is occuring it will require the OCU to be replaced as it means a hardware defect with the unit

Does the car already have a skoda sd card in it? If this is the case then all you need to do is format the sd card already fitted to the vehicle

Hi @theandywaite The latest official SW for that unit is sw253, and the options for enabling the unit are either that way or via unlock code (approx £100 from dealer) You need to make sure the unit supports Android auto first however otherwise you won't be able to activate it
