@D.FYLAKTOShi I have tested obd port and it has power to it (only 3 wires run into it) I think it's a different shape to the socket of the scanner I tried, will I need a adapter to join them? Thanks.Eager.

@R_U_AFAthanks for that I'm going to have a look at the wiring and see if there is any power to the obd port later I'm sure it lit the scanner up ages ago when I borrowed it but it just said vehicle not responding so I presumed it was probably because of a different language being used by the vehicle.Eager.

@D.FYLAKTOS yes I think there's a problem with the wires as the obd11/eobd that I tried wouldn't light up even I have a different throttle body from the other pick up I will try fitting that and see how it is as it has different sensors with it, thanks for replying.Eager.

I think from looking on the internet that I need a obd11 reader for my 2000 Felicia with 1998 engine could anyone please confirm before I buy one thanks.

Can a code reader suitable for the 2000 Skoda pick up with a 1998 engine fitted be bought fairly cheaply?? I have just tried a next peak obd11/eobd that I managed to borrow and it won't even light up. Perhaps there is a problem with the wires.?

Haven't tried yet it will probably go to garage if it carries on.

@D.Fylaktos thanks I think I caused this problem by unplugging the connector on top of the throttle housing when car was running to see where the "Morse code" was coming from so perhaps it'll help. Thanks again for all your assistance.Eager.

D. Fylaktos if I use this method to set my throttle will that save me going to the man with the computer?

Hi yes Haynes manual is here just looked and there is some kind of filter stuck in the place where the pipe supposed to go,will have a look at trying to remove it and find a piece of pipe to join it . Thanks for the info 👍

Hi again just tried to start Mr Felicia and struggle to start then very slow tick over and sounds like Morse code coming from top of throttle body any ideas ??

I actually meant a picture of the pipe from the crankcase to the plastic coming off the top of the throttle housing 🤔 thanks.

If anyone has a picture of how the pipe attaches to the back of the inlet manifold on a 1600 petrol pick up it would be much appreciated. Thanks.Eager.
