Is that the pipe from the catch box with a filter on? Does it not need to go to the back of the inlet manifold?

Hi can anyone please tell me how the crankcase breather pipe is connected to the back of the inlet manifold as when I first got my pick up it was just waggling about , I don't have the plastic top cover for the engine don't know if that's something to do with it?

Hi thanks for replying D.flaktos , the engine is from a 1998 motor so there is no chance of catching it early when you say an engine rebuild is that everything from bottom to top ?

Hello again just taken Felicia pick up our after fitting my new (old) engine, ticking over and revving engine on drive it's fine but accelerating hard it's producing lots of blue smoke can anyone tell me wether a rebore and new pistons/rings will solve the problem or will it need a lot more doing to it ? As I've said thanks for all the help and info ,can someone please explain why the torque settings are 60 nm plus 90 degree turn rather than just say 65 nm or equivalent to 60 nm plus 90 degree turn?? It's puzzling me. I'm sure there will be a good reason for it but can't think what 🤔 cheers Eager.

Thanks for the info guys I put the bolts on yesterday and went 60 nm and 45 degrees as they felt so tight I thought I might sheer the bolts will this suffice or should I remove and re -tighten them (1600 engine by the way)

Hi I have just received an almost bare engine for my pick up just wondering if anyone can explain how tricky it'll be to put flywheel off my donor engine on and if you have the torque settings for it , also I have ordered a Haynes manual for the Felicia do you know if they will be in this?

Hello again I need advice on changing the flywheel on my 1600 Felicia pick up. I have just received delivery of an almost bare engine and as I have never done it before can someone please explain how to swap one over from my donor engine and perhaps supply me with the torque settings,muchas gracias in advance.Eager..

Hi I'm new to the forum and posted this on the general site and thought it'd be better on here,I was wondering if an engine out of a 1998 Felicia estate will go in to a 2000 Felicia pick up with little tinkering? I'm only a hobby mechanic but willing to try myself , thanks in advance, Eager.
