I thought I asked asked this already but I cold not find a thread. When my car is turned off and I get out at home, sometimes, the engine makes a loud noise for a couple of minutes? Like there was a loud fan going under the bonnet. I wanted to confirm that this is normal?

Using infotainment PO363T: Another issue I have been having with Android auto is the Keypad does not work in phone mode, so if you are required to enter a number in an automated phone system. Here's what I see when connected, when I press dial number it's to call another number and put this call on hold.What am I missing?

The garage looked at the diagnostics today and there were no error codes listed, Unfortunately they did not get the type of camera for me.

The garage I bought it off sent me this. Does it mean you don't need a diagnostics tool to reset?

Hi, My air vent gives noise when the car is driving and all the air/fan is turned off. Not rattling bit not sure how else to describe. Is this normal?

I've never had an issue with JSaux cables before, good reviews too and chord cable.I can try and get an anker, I have a bunch of their hardware and they are good. I have no idea, but I assume so. I bough the car 2 months ago from a dealer who bought it, 2 previous owners. How would I know? No codes have come up on the screen. I think there is some way of checking fault codes in the infotainment system but a search ion these forums/google did not find it?

I upgraded my infotainment to PO363T, thanks to this forum. I've never used Android Auto before and have some questions: One the USB is connected and Android Auto connection starts my reverse camera does not come on, is this normal? When I connect the USB, I always get a message on my phone to allow/deny, is it possible to have that silent? Sometimes on connecting it takes a couple of goes of replugging in my JSAUX USB-C cable for the connection not to fail. I've never had an issue with cable before and use a second identical one for home charging without issue. What do these failures indicate?

Ok, makes sense. If i connect to to my windows laptop I need software on the windows machine to play a CD. It's a pity the Amundsen infotainment system has never been updated to include CD player software.

The power for my portable CD player which works with my laptop is 5W. So I connected it to the lighter. I then connected the player via the USB and USB/3.5mm adapter to the Aux. Clicking selection shows track list not supported and I don't see an option to play the CD - see setup below. Has anyone successfully done this?

I bought my 2017 car less than 2 month ago and a full service had been done with timing belt and all filters replaced. The last 10 days I've started getting an "inspection date" countdown on startup, it now say inspection due in 9 days. What is an inspection rather than a service? It suggests NCT/MOT. Was it just not rest by the garage or does it mean something else? I had the key in the other night without the car started and the orange oil light came on and stayed on for the 10 minutes I was in the car. Today on startup it was gone. Any idea what that means?

Thanks @xman, yes I would like to have the seat higher. I don't want to tilt the seat back too much as I need to be upright enough for my back. From the manual/playing with it I have not figured out how to move the steering wheel towards me (fore/aft) yet 😞

Thanks. I looked up adjusting the seat and brought it right down, I preferred it up but now the dials are not obscured I think, need to be road tested. Thanks!

Indeed. It was a forlorn hope that I had missed something!!!

Does anyone an issue that the can't see the tops of the tachometer & speedometer as the top of the steering wheel convers them? Bending your head down if you wish for a full view is not ideal! The seat is at a comfortable position for me that said. Any solutions? I recently got an Octavia after having Passats for 20 years, I had the same issue in the Passats!

Does anyone use logos? They were setup on my default factory install and brightened up the bare radio screens...

I found Search (media.info) where you can search for stations individually and download the logos which save as jpg. If I have a collection of jpgs on a usb stick / hard drive how will they be linked to the relevant channel when updating the logos?
