Oil Loss 1.6 TDI EA288
Update: Remeoved the cover, peeled out the rubber saeling and washed everything clean before reassembling. Wasn't difficult at all except one screw was a little bit tricky to reach. Unfortunately I can't reach the protective plate below the engine for cleaning so I'll leave some cardboard under the car after parking and see if the dripping is going to stop. Some impressions:

Oil Loss 1.6 TDI EA288
Car is leaking oil drips on the floor. This cover is located on the right side of the camshaft housing and looks very messy. If I put my finger under it it's oil-wet so it's likely the culprit. There's also a sensor located below the cover that seems to have collected a lot of oil drips. First I thought theres a screw missing but I compared with another octavia mk3 and there's also just 4 screws keeping the cover in place (same according to a manual I found) and also some oily residue visible but way less compared to the leaky one. Is this a known issue? Thinking about replacing the cover + seal myself (no 8 + 9). Messy one: Other car looks like:

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
Sounds like an rip off attempt, just run the USB Update and the reboots will disappear.

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
That's probably OK because the first modules are already up to date so the updater will skip them.

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
Nowadays I won't buy a car without extended warranty - it took skoda more than 2 years to provide an "OK-ish" firmware and all that electronics components aren't really designed in a rock solid way. So either choose an "all inclusive" leasing plan or cover yourself with an extended warranty if you prefer buying.

If your vehicel is qualified you still might have to be more patient since the rollout is done "step-by-step" so the update is not available for all at the same time. If you can't wait due to pressing issues the dealer should be able to help you via manual update our you perform the update by yourself @own risk...

Wow, this forum is ultra quiet!
Many forums I visited around y2k are mostly abandoned or offline today thanks to social media. I also think the average attention span of many people can't manage anything longer than a twitter post or tiktok video. I run a german fan forum for the sisters of mercy myself, we also lost many active members over the years but luckily it's fairly active thanks to the people who stick with us. @intital question: I don't track my car since it's a company car and with 115ps I would probably end up as the joke of the day^^ I do a little sim racing though. Your vRS looks in great shape though, must be fun to do some laps.

DSG slight delay
Yeah the delay also bothered me when I had to drive a loaner with DSG. Initial reaction from DSG is like playing a game with 300ms input lag.

1.6l TDI / 105hp faulty injektor repair idea
Hey guys, anybody tried to fix a faulty injector by it's own? One of our company cars have a faulty injector @cylinder 3. I checked the internal resistance with a multimeter and got 4kOhm. All healthy ones are around 190kOhm. I have another broken injector to play with and that one also show ~5kohm on the multimeter. I noticed that you can easily remove te top part that includes the electical components of the injector wich looks like this: https://german.alibaba.com/product-detail/solenoid-valve-for-siem-ens-continental-vdo-common-rail-piezo-injector-1600121716566.html Now I'm asking myself if the injector can be fixed by swapping this part. This should be possible without removing the entire injector since you can acces it pretty well. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any supplier from EU and I'm also not shure if this will work at the end of the days since it might be possible that this part became faulty due to another issues inside the injector assy,
