  1. The dealer checked this, told me all OK.... All voltages in the correct parameters.... Hence the fuel issue.... Have to start going the v power route lol
  2. 2017 oct 1.4tsi dsg no noticeable issue with car engine running. Main dealer changed spark plugs, still codes states miss fire cylinder 4,they now as don't know saying possible dirty fuel....... Any thoughts
  3. Is that 1 air filter change in 10yrs via servicing.... have to get me glasses.....

  5. Also with warranty, dealer has to replicate the fault, or won't attempt any fixes... Eg my start stop...
  6. I have car 1.4tsi 17plate dsg, with warranty on it, Brakea not covered wear and tear part Oil leaks, any leaks covered Undertray cover, scrap yard, ebay etc Eml, car has to be given back to you with light cleared... Dealers responsibility

  10. Be lucky to find a vw brand ie skoda with 55thou miles on the clock with cambelts change.... Skoda main dealer told me 120 on clock before chsnge, mines got 75thou, 17 plate

  12. Yes i did exactly that, took that exact spare tyre out of an 11 plate octy mk2 and fitted perfectly in my mk3 octy space in boot... On trade in.
  13. I would personally recoup, if it's worth 9grand....Get a decent mk3 for that price.... Poss just been unlucky but what caused it.... The oil as someone pointed out...... Or have I not read it.....

  15. Wow.... Pretty unbelievable that, 2019 with 50thou on clock... I would buy an engine, eg one of the photos, get it fitted and px it get rid of it.... My 2017 plate 75 tho on clock, due for a service. Got me thinking..........

  17. Yes price from 60 upto 200 valeo part. Easy to do via YouTube saved a fortune over the years on octavia.....
  18. Had the exact same problem,when driving constant beeping from boot being open when wasn't. Had the boot latch replaced under warranty via skoda oct 2017 Ps this fixed the fault

  20. Yes totally agree, purchased a 1.4tsi dsg 17plate...70 on clock, phoned 2 main dealers both stated 120000 min miles...... Got 1yr warranty left and actually thinking of trading it in
