  1. Update (a bit late); I bought a 5QA919294B on ovoko (twice... The first one was coded for electronic parking brake, I made mistake...) and all is good now.
  2. Yes, I said my cheap vcds cable 🙃
  3. I bought a "cheap" eml because my cheap vcds cable can't read the default as spoken above. I need to configure/code or flash the new ecu to remove the rear cross trafic alert and electric brake.
  4. I suppose you put a new sensor for now. Is everythings good ?
  5. I've carlinkit. Not cheap but no problem
  6. +1 Check battery If still not working may be the connector/cable
  7. Forgot to tell. Start stop works fine ( and <2years battery)
  8. I bought the module on Ovoko on a best seller from Lituania. 10 box + 13 shipping +1,99 services fees. This is all good but I still have a problem. I'll made another topic. It can be closed.
  9. Hello members, After the change of my PDC unit (Lost park sensors - Skoda Octavia Mk3 (2013 - 2020) - BRISKODA) I made the changes in the Coding function it seems all good. But I still have the message "Manoeuvre braking currently unavailable" when I put the ignition. Here's an autoscan. As we can see here ; I've missing message from databus. Did I miss an adaptation or so ? The new PDC unit came from a 2018 GTI, maybe with rear cam that I don't have on my 5E5 but I didn't see which adaptation I need to do. I'll take a look when I've some time. Thank you for your help ! autoscan_Log-TMBJG7NE6J0120920-226159km-140528mi.txt
  10. Ffs the cheapest one is not the same lfmao
  11. Yello, A few dans ago I lost park sensors. With VCDS I saw the ECU coding was "lost" to 000000 When I try to re activate trought coding I got this error. I think the ECU is dead. I watt to know if I can buy another one with the ref parts like mine and I dont care about the others inscriptions on it or if I need one with almost the same? Ie mine have E111927 (5e5 2017 facelift) on it, the cheaper (and older - from golf mk7 2013) one have 305149. After writing this, I think I will be appreciable to put more money to have a similar one. thanks!! vcds error My steer ecu Cheapest one (2013) More expensive (and newer one 2017)
  12. Go mahle, mann, Bosch... I find purflux less rigorous, or they have glue for free.
  13. Haha indeed, my facelift have 61mm !! I wish I read it earlier !!
  14. Sorry for the treble, this is well 1KD but the VAG ref is 5Q0 615 601 C.
  15. I'va another problem now. My PR is 1KD but the disc isn't 😳
  16. It's me again. Repair manual says that we need to replace M14 bolts when removed. Seems normal but I don't find the exact vag ref for this part. On this video you can see @1:26 the size is about 36mm but on the internet is only found 65mm or more.
  17. I'll reply to myself. In my case, I tried to change the rotors. I could remove the old one but the new one doesn't pass. The wear helps... So I'm gonna buy one M14 XZN 😅 Edit ; the rotors are Brembo Prime 08.9502.11
  18. Very clear instructions. Glad I found a how to for 1kd because I wasn't sure if M14 XZN was mandatory or not. If I can add some tips. Dont forget to clean and put some Grease if needed
  19. Well i'm back, I do not check the battery voltage since but start/stop works (not the last days but with the hot days we had, AC was always on and very low. So i think its good to switch to fleece mode. I'll coming back to tell if something went wrong
  20. I have VCDS 23.3 if needed (7534 Belgium)
  21. Hello Dreamlearn, I just do the same thing than you on my 5E5 1.6 TDI 115 facelift SS. I bought an AGM battery to Auto5 (Norauto), switch the battery technology to fleece in the CAN Gateway 19 adaptation (I do not have the battery regulation on my VCDS) and change the serial but first, the store said that the voltage on idle was too low (12,7v) for them to accept to stamp the warranty card. I switchback on EFB+, which was the old battery tech, and the idle voltage was 13,2v (with some peak to 14.5v coming to a stop, gear in), but drops to 12.4v when I maintain my speed. Those values are pretty similar for the fleece battery tech adaptation. My battery level was about 79% to 81% and I read here that's normal, as long as it's more to 60%. Can you tell me if all was ok for you ? I'll switchback again to fleece battery and I'll keep an eye on the voltage at rest.
  22. Hello Briskoda members, Some researchs about my car took me here. I hope I'll learn a lot here ! Have a nice day
