  1. Mib std2 pq. The only oem option that supports all.
  2. I added power through adaptor by tapping into ignition-on power fuse 46 (seat warmers?). I checked the polarity of fuse to connect the adaptor correctly. I used 5A fuse for the rvc. For coding it was necessary just on 5F and 10 modules (pdc module and multimedia). Will test later on adding fixed static parking lines by cutting the white rvc wire. 3. Okay I found the issue. Somehow I assumed camera gets the power from the button connector. I connected it directly to battery and then plugged into tv and it worked. Whats the best option for power source? Saw something about adding fuse splitter to dashboard fuse and take the power from there. Is this good idea? Dashboard gets power when ignition is turned on, therefore camera will also get power then I assume. Is there a better source? @pab567 hey, where did you take the power source from?
  4. I connected the rvc to the blue connector in those pins. About long coding, i tried to enable it in: park assist module multi media Gateway Restarted the multi media unit afterwards. When put into reverse the layout was different, pdc stuff on the left side and working BUT camera input was black. Either i have some physical connection issue with RVC.. or maybe im mising some more changesthat are needed in coding. I havent found any manual for this. Maybe some adaptation is needed as well? See attached images.
  5. Regarding map upgrades. No idea. Industry has switched long time ago from built in navigation to do it via phone: 1) waze for online maps 2) other apps for offline maps.
  6. Finally have routed the yellow video cable from RVC to MIB STD2 PQ. I have added the adapter to the video cable. Unfortunately it’s not plug and play because there already is such plug with some already existing pinned connections plugged into media unit. That goes with the assumption that I’m looking at the correct connector that goes directly in to MIB STD2 PQ in red circle pins in image below. There are already something plugged into other pins (black and red wires), that will have to be merged together or in other words, I need to repin existing wires with my new RVC wires in to the same adapter. Some extra photos https://ibb.co/album/tTgv9c @pab567 hey can you help me with the pinout or comment if it’s the correct connector and pins I’m looking at?
  7. Its tricky with the quadlock adapter. It took me half an hour to fit it on the left side deep behind retrofitted mid std2 pq in superb 2010.
  8. Finally weather was suitable for some work on car. Added the wiring to the aftermarket camera LS8012, now to just connect it. 1) RVC cable has yellow RCA connector. Does RVC cable plug into MIB STD2 PQ rear port and thats it, or RVC requires any extra connection? 2) The question about PDC module. Currently I have such as below. Is it suitable for this RVC or should I search for other PDC module (such as 1K8919472C which has auto-turn on)? @pab567 System description: PARKHILFE 8K Software number: 1Z0919475C Software version: 0006 Hardware number: 1Z0919475A Hardware version: H06 Serial number: 66541007404147 Long coding: 110108
  9. I have ordered the aftermarket cam LS8012. Module for guidance lines is kind of expensive, I will skip it. about pda/pdc module. Where is it located? I have obdeleven can i read the code using it?
  10. It cost me 32€ here in Latvia at local skoda dealer. its same as original.
  11. Yes you can buy new plastic cover. I replaced it on my 2010 superb as it had the same issue. I bought it from dealer i think, it was not expensive.
  12. Hey, how can i find out the code of my current Parking module (PDC / PLA) ? i have front and rear parking sensors on my 2010 skoda superb combi with oem towbar.
  13. I have retrofitted mib std2 pq into 2010 superb. It originally had parking sensors but no camera. Parking sensors are working on the mib std2 pq. Now i want to retrofit RVC. Maybe someone has done this and can guide me what is needed for this? 1) camera and harness 2) coding 3) boot exterior handle with integrated slot for camera lens? 4) change of parking module to a different one? 5) camera with guidance line? Anything else? What camera to choose from? there is low line camera and different kind.
  14. Its oem, therefore all works same as for rns510
  15. Btw 205/60 will also fit perfectly and will provide more better ride quality over bumps. i ride 205/60 r16 during summer and winter. Best upgrade for rough roads there is.
