Hi, i have 2010 superb. I have replaced my rns310 with mib std2 pq 5C0035680C. Got it from vw tiguan 2014, and got it converted to Skoda buttons & software. All the work was done by Pawel (pab567). Shipped it to him, he patched it and prepared all the cables and connectors for easy swap. Only fabrication on my side was to cut plastic ribbon deep in headunit bay and route the microphone and phone cables. Here are some photos. Really happy with the results. It cost me all together around 700€. Initial reactions:

0) plug & play. OEM experience. Since Pawel set up everything. Just connect cables and all works!
1) radio signal is better

2) audio quality is better

3) UI is not laggy, its good

4) can play spotify through bluetooth

5) apple carplay/android auto through wire at headrest

6) built navigation is much better

7) no other module was neeeded to be replaced. No need for coding. All just works, no need for vagcom.

8 ) Pawel supported and answered any question I had

 

next steps:

1) clean the messy interrior

2) buy & install camera

3) cleanup final locations for microphone and phone connector in hand rest.

I live in Latvia so it cost me around 35€ shipping to poland for every direction.

Hi! Im interested in this upgrade. How about wheel buttons and clima ? Old bluetoot module?

 

And rear camera, now i use a aftermarket module for rns510 with standard composite camera

Its oem, therefore all works same as for rns510

I have a pre facelift octavia 2 rs. I want to put in it a mib2 std pq head unit. What else should i buy besides the head unit? What should i code in vcds? Can someone help me please?
