Kamiq notchy gears
What did notchy mean? My Kamiq is about 6 months old, out was a dealer car they used to transport clients. I notice on the low end of either air twitchy or sluggish. What I mean with this is either the car takes off like a rocket or if I accelerate but don't commit due to the car in front being slow, it takes forever to react after the car in front moved and I had enough room, if that makes sense. I put it down to DSG, as I never owned one, buy I find it a bit unsafe at times. Is this common?

VIN decoder?
I'd like some help too please. My Kamiq came without side assist, if like to know whether the sensors or cables are there, and what i need to buy, before i pull anything apart. Is it possible? Thanks

side assist installation steps
I just bought a Kamiq without side assist. I'd like to install the factory version. 1) where can I see what parts I need and what parts my car already has? 2) do I need to enable the side assist in my MIB3 head unit once I have all the parts installed? Is this done at the dealer via ODIS? Or can it be done with VCDS or OBD11? Thanks

New to adaptive cruise control, questions.
Apparently there is a Skoda "predictive adaptive cruise control" that does the traffic sign recognition and speed control linked to GPS. I wonder whether a code might enable that feature, I believe all the hardware should be there.

Do the car was aware of the bend but slowed down too abruptly? I can't believe there's no documentation on how the ACC is supposed to behave

I Should have mentioned this. It's a DSG

Anybody fitted aftermarket heated seats to a Kamiq
for that purpose, I'd probably just get a 12v or USB heated pad or cover, easier and cheaper.

New to adaptive cruise control, questions.
Hi All. New guy here. I specifically bought the Kamiq because the alternatives at the same price point either did not have ACC or did not have good reviews of their ACC. My intention was to use it in long drives, and be able to relax a bit from the constant pedal switching, however, during my initial testing I found that 1) It doesn't seem to slow down during the curves, so I need to engage the brake, disengaging the ACC 2) When there is no car visible, and suddenly there is a car stopped at the lights, it just keeps going, and I need to hit the brakes. Is this normal behaviour of the Kamiq? Skodas in general, or for that matter ACC? saying that, when there is a car in front, and the road is straight it doesn't seem to have problems, but the above, seem to limit the use a fair bit PS: I tried both Travel assist, and ACC modes, same thing thanks a lot
