Yeah that's the same video I watched. When I pressed park assist, I don't get the trailer view on the instrument cluster but a message similar to ' park assist stopped. Trailer attached ' 🤷‍♂️

That sounds good but apprehensive that warranty would be void if I get the coding modified.

I'm the second owner. The first owner bought this off the dealership floor. Its a demonstrator car so it came with almost all options for that trim level. That first photo is the view when you reverse to get the trailer hitched. The green line pivots when you turn the wheel and helps you back up right to the tow ball

Ah, thanks! This is still Under warranty, maybe I should reach out to the dealer to check why trailer assist is not working

Thank you for sharing that @ApertureS I recently used the trailer hook on the car. Noticed the trailer assist function is not active. It leads me to believe you need the blind spot sensors for the trailer assist feature. Would that be right?

Hey, Guess your problem and mine might be similar. Mine says not available as I dont have sensors fitted OR the indicators in the mirrors Does your one have the blind spot indicators on the mirror?

Hi All, I thought this might a good place to ask my question. I am from Melbourne, Australia. Bought a 2022 Kodiaq Style last week. It was a unit off the dealer floor and it has all the optional extras except for Blind spot assist (not counting the sportline seats, alloys, wheels etc) since this model is one from the chip shortage era. Found out on the weekend that this does not have the SD slots, CD slot and the sim card slot. In Australia, we dont get skoda connect facility as far as I know. Has anyone come across such a unit ? How did you update maps? thanks! Guy

Thank you @ApertureS I assumed it would be there because I see some cars on sale from 2022 with blind spot and lane assist. I might be wrong but after seeing that Audis have the blind spot sensors in the same harness as reverse sensors, I thought Skoda may have the harness but not the sensors. If I had that much cash to bring those guys down, I would have gone for a brand new. Thanks! good to know there are parts only option. The Skoda dealer I interact with said that, as long as I/installer does not splice any wires the warranty is valid. But not sure how the coding would affect the warranty unless I get it done at the dealer and pay with my kidney.

Hi everyone, I am new here and based in Melbourne Australia. I am in the process of finalising the purchase of a 2022 Kodiaq. It does have most options but due to chip shortage, is not equipped with Lane Assist/Blind Spot monitoring. Would any of you know if the wiring harness already has the provisions to fit the genuine sensors? I assume if genuine sensors can be mounted, they then have to be coded so you can enable/disable them through the infotainment system. OR am I thinking about an impossible scenario? Thanks! Guy AU
