I tried @Cairus code, wouldn't change anything. Still "currently not available"...

I'm new to coding so I might not be familiar with terminology. I had some instructions to code lane assist or sign recognition and it needs finding string of text and choosing "activate" or "" enable". I can't find it. I can see numbers. So then I ask Gemini to convert this to raw binary code. Like this : I can't find it in my long coding

Yes, I can type in and I modified it few times. So every instruction using adaptation need to be converted in binary coding. But yes, I can edit coding.

Should I keep this profile or tried other one? Trying to see how to get acces to more coding options...

The problem is all instructions I found includes i put text values in coding, adaptations. I can't see it. All I see is binary code. So I found coding or transfer instructions to just bytes and bites.. Something missing....

Ok, I tried all codes I found and the ones from Cairus (many thanks again!). Still the same. Because I am using Car Scanner I'm limited. Next step - trying with Obd11 as it works with VAG better or visit someone with ODIS or VCD to get dataset for Lane Assist.... I will keep you updated guys.. It's not easy but I'm not giving up😎💪

Ok, little observation. Just got to work, when I turn ACC off it says "ACC and lane assist deactivated" so lane assist is there but something missing m nearly there... 😂

Ok, I tried. It throws Lane Assist fault. What bothers me is the fact that it coded it in but there is issue with functionality..... If it would not accept it it would be simple case...

I could also try A5 longvcode number from this that guy from forum. See if that change anything...

Sorry, forgot to mention. Yes, I have but wouldn't accept it. "Wrong code or faulty ELM327" So back to begging, Lane assist is there but not working and with "currently unavailable". I might try to get to Skoda to see if I can upgrade software but if it would work on older software for the guy from that forum it should work for newer mine.. 😬

Is there any chance that someone with same car, same camera A5 and software with working lane assist share full long coding so I can compare and see what is not working? Due to the car being facelift and car scanner limitation I can only see numerical values in long coding, no adaptation are a ailable to be seen. My details: Superb FL (2019-2023) A5 camera 2Q0980653 Software 1030 Something is missing as lane assist is present but error "not currently available" shown and adaptive lane guidance is not available to select but vibration on steering wheel can be selected. Other reason I would go for this way is I can only see string of numbers in every module of long coding in Car Scanner, there's no adaptation to be entered/modified. As you can see I'm not experienced so this would be in my opinion easier. Hopefully successfully as well.

I'm tempted to try. He has same car, same hardware, older software, so that's OK. Only difference is I don't have sign recognition and I'm not sure if his is ditital cockpit, mine are analogue clocks.. I've got my long code saved and all original settings saved as a backup so I could try😎 will update

So lane change assist and blind spot detection.. I'm missing lane change assist... 😢 OK, interesting. There is long coding number there for A5 unit. Also someone with similar to mine problems mentioned A5 camera software update from 1300 to 1302 fixed the issue as Binx1310 mentioned. I have a choice now and hopefully you more experience colleagues could advise: Enter long coding in A5 unit and see if it work Find the file for software update/get it from Skoda 😬 Forget it and try Obd11... Forget it altogether and accept defeat (not an option 😂) Just to clear it - do I just change that long code value in long coding in A5 menu in Car Scanner? That's it? Hugh beam assist 100% works but there is slight issue. There is separate topic. High beam works fine on smaller A and B roads but on motorway is not illuminate left side as it should in auto. But it works, yes.. Have you got link to that forum by any chance? Would be good to have a look. I will try to find it. Is that Bfiskoda too? Did anyone had an errorfir sign recognition but after longer drive it cleared? I restarted infotainment but still there, didn't go for drive yet. Or it doesn't work like that and should work after coding?

I tried sign recognition but fails too. Error straight away but it's visible in infotainment... No luck for whatever I want to code....

Have you tried obd11 or vcds? Seems like some facelift models are difficult to code. I know some FL superb 2019 with lane assist coded successfully... Weird...

I tried but came back with error straight away. As my camera is 2Q0980653 there are only option to code with use of camera and sat nav. I might try again. I found some comments from users who had to try coding Lane assist few times before it worked. Obviously bonnet up, I will turn headlight on too just in case... Still hoping to find someone with obd11, maybe it's the way to go? Already did backup, good point. Cheers, I can try that😊

I haven't got road sign recognition but high beam assist and everything else is working. Maybe it's just not possible...

Ok, tried other additional coding for lane assist and adaptive lane assist but no luck, still don't work. I backed off all changes and revert car to it's previous state. I will have to try obd11 if find one unless someone will direct me in right direction with car scanner. Everything else works fine, ACC, front assist, blind spot, rear traffic. Car is washed and took it on motorway few times... Still not working. It's there but somethung missing. I will ha e a look today if there is additional codo g for adaptive lane assist. I will update soon👍
