Well I tried my best... The key just won't turn. I really don't think it's the correct key, it's a terrible story with this car, just another problem to add to the list. As you guys may already know from my other posts I have had this car almost a year but it's been unusable and parked up for most of that time so trying the keys just never happened, never needed to.

Yes, thank you, I'm gonna get myself some wd40 or equivalent and give it a go. When I bought the car only one key fob worked anyway, new batteries didn't help the one that didn't, the little led doesn't illuminate. Will get back to you guys. Thank you!

Cheers guys... One small thing... I don't think they are the correct keys for the lock, or the lock is duff. As the car is kessy I have never used the key, this is the first time I have even tried the key in the door lock (don't have an ignition barrel) it just will not turn at all. It slides on to the right depth but sits firm, won't budge at all. Hmmm

Hi again everyone, I'm back again, this time with a question... So the fabia I have thats been stood for months, just gone back out to it to check it over. Car battery is completely flat so central locking isn't working, I have flipped the little cover of the drivers door (as per user manual) and tried the key... It doesn't turn, the door won't unlock. So the car is kessy so never used the key to open or start the car, my question now... How the hell do I get into it? Other than smashing a window lol
