Heya. no work done on it yet. still in the process of fitting lowering springs but had to get the handbrake fixed first so I got the rear shoes fixed yesterday. The handbrake would seize up and lock if it wasn’t driven every day so at least that’s done. the list of tasks are to lower it slightly (as at high speed the thing wobbles in a slightly terrifying way), find a Monte Carlo spoiler for a mk3 fabia (which seems like you can only get if you buy an entire tailgate off of a scrapyard or breakers) and then the wheels. I want to paint the rear drums on it too as they are quite crusty looking.

Also, dunno if this is the particular forum for this as I’m new. but has anyone “successfully” lowered their mark 3? I’ve bought a new set of springs as on the motorway it rides just too high and the wind just gets under it. I haven’t gotten my mechanic to install them yet, but I’m worried that they may be in fact too low, and I might be a clot , and ruin my car.

Thanks all. im still not sure if mine are those exact ones. could be the Matte finish throwing me off. I dunno what colour it really is as it’s like a quartz metallic on the alloy. they’re fierce scuffed and was hoping to try and get a bit of the paint to fill in the scrapes and finish them off a bit.

Heya. They’re Team Heko 4-part set I got from CF Sound and Styles in Ireland. they’re made for the fabia but it was still a tight squeeze. I would definitely recommend them, bit pricey though. I think they were about 80 quid.

Hey all, New member based in Ireland. I have a basic 1.0 Fabia MK 3 and I have loads of annoying questions for all of you who are more well versed. looking to id the alloys I have, the paint on them to touch up some of the existing scrapes, And I’m looking to buy some of the Monte Carlo trim such as the spoiler if anyone knew anyone or anywhere in Ireland. thanks for having me, Robbie.
