Thanks, that's interesting as a little Goggling I did, if I did it right, said that the SE TSI S-A didn't list SatNav. Really, as I'm comfortable with TomTomGO it's more about being denied something I've essentially paid for, and if I were to sell in a few years, if I was due it on this car, I should get it anyway or just in case I forget my phone .

Cheers Warrior193, just for perspective, I bought the car from a Skoda/VW garage a couple of weeks ago and the salesman wasn't that knowledgable about stuff so I don't know what he knew or didn't know. In that light, when he said "oh this car doesn't have satnav" upon seeing that screen that I uploaded earlier, I was surprised that he said that after seeing the word "Nav" and seing the map appear on it, I figured why would they load that up if it wasn't available. Sure, I can use Android Auto, but the purpose of investigating this and the non-functioning interior rear lighting was because if there's something under warranty that can be sorted, I want to do it before I forget and/or warranty runs out. MIB3 I've not heard of.

Nope just a stereo-sized slot covered up and a weird 0 to * rotary dial that I've also seen under the armrest and have no idea what they do.

Not yet, I'll go now and look to see if there's a slot. Thank you

Thanks Warrior193, I don't even know if there's a slot for one, just bought the car from Skoda, I can tell you: Model is SE TSI S-A late 2022

Sorry to hijack this thread but I take it that if I have the following infotainment (pic attached) I don't have satnav and just continue with android auto? TIA
-
Thanks again everyone, yes, Android auto works well and I can easily use this with my TomTomGo and the navigation (basic style) even can be got to appear in between the tacho and the speedo. Model is SE TSI S-A late 2022 Still don't know why interior rear 'ceiling' lights don't work whichever way the buttons are pressed. TIA

Hi all, I bought this car having bought a 2015 Fabia before and am happy with both. However, although the car when bought "approved used" with only 5900 miles on it, I can't get the rear interior lights to work, either of them. Am I being stupid in that they have to be "enabled" or something, the handbook was useless to help me? Can anyone help with this? Also, how can I tell if the car has a satnav or not, it's all alien to me as I come from a background of analogue everything. Currently I've managed using Android auto to get my phone's TomTom Go to appear on the console screen and have been using that. TIA people.

Hi all, I previously was a Volvo man having had a 2005 2.4 Tdi V70 (recently scrapped under the ULEZ scheme) and also a 2015 V40 that my wife uses as a runaround. I knew in 2005 that when I bought the V70 that it would be the last diesel car I'd buy (though I did get a 2011Diesel Caddy Van for my plumbing business), that turned out to be a good deal as under the scrappage scheme I got £7000 for it and duly bought a 1.2 petrol Caddy which I have to this day. Knowing the strong relationship between VW and Skoda, and liking the petrol van, I bought my daughter the 2015 Fabia which I love, so economical, and I like that those out there with their expensive Polos or Audi A1 are essentially driving the same car! With the money I got from scrapping the van and the V70, I was almost halfway to getting a Superb estate, which I recently bought, late 2022 model with 5913 miles on the clock. I was hesitant to get an auto as I'm a dyed in the wool manual driver but I've been told that they're ok nowadays, so that's me.
