    Why there is no water sensor and water trap in the filter house? Is there any other safety measure against water in the fuel?

    Hi everyone, I have drained water from the fuel filter of my partners car (Honda Civic ) after a warning message showed up on the dashboard. I have a Skoda Octavia mk3 1.6 tdi 2017. For my biggest surprise there is no drain point at the bottom of the fuel filter. We were getting the diesel from the same source. How could I check if I have any water in the fuel filter?
