  5. Well what another cracking weekend We arrived on Friday it was very very wet and I thought the weekend could be abit of a washout to be honest but it didnt put the hardcore members off and a few of use soon had the gazebo up and tents up before heading down the pub for a Friday night meal and pray for better weather. Saturday the weather God was good to us although it was a little grey to start with it was dry and the stage was drying out after very heavy showers in the night. Soon the sun was out and well what a cracking weekend with both weather and company.. Anyway less of my chat here are some photos... 8. Some of you might already know but my daughter runs an MSA & WAMC approved mixed car club which runs legal driving meets and events. She is running the annual South Wales Charity drive which starts at Magor and ends at Sarn. Everyone is invited no matter what car you drive as long as it is road legal etc. She has been running these events since 2007 and they are very well organised.. anyway here are the details... Summer Wales Charity Drive - Sunday 7th August 2011 All persons partaking in this event must be registered with Rebel Motorsport Club under MSA regulations, and a minimum of £5 per car to be donated towards the Welsh Air Ambulance. (details will be posted up on their website. Letter of authority from The Wales Air Ambulance will be brought on the day) Limited spaces available, only payment will secure your place and payment must be made pay prior to this event in order to purchase liablity insurance cover, and legal touring permit for this event Click here for payment details. All money raised for this event will go to the Wales Air Ambulance. NOTE: if paying via paypal please add an extra £0.50 to cover paypals admin cost. If you do not want to attend this event however would like to donate towards The Wales Air Ambulance then please feel free to do so all money will be donated to this very worthy cause. As with all my driving events this is a registered legal driving event with an MSA touring permit Drive around Brecon 200 miles 12 Stages Meeting points Start at Magor Services Jct 23A off M4 0930am Simlar format to last year. We will be finishing at Sarn Services and having a meal at the Harvester so those who may not want to attend the driving meet are more then welcome to join us for the meal please conact me for further details and again we ask you to make a donation to the Wales Air Ambulance. The subject of safety... We will remind those attending that we do not condone/endorse racing and we fully expect attendees to be law-abiding and to drive responsibly. If you want to drive like an idiot and rag the nuts off your car then please take it elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy the event! Depending on the event it is quite possible we'll be attracting a lot of attention so please respect other road users and avoid excessive noise/speed in public and built-up areas. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that there will potentially be lots of bikers, cyclists and horse-riders out sharing and enjoying the roads with us. You know the drill... be extra vigilant and keep checking your mirrors. Please keep it sensible. Authority from Wales Air Ambulance Wales Air Ambulance site updated click here Many thanks, - Rebel Motorsport Club

  10. On Saturday the 6th November 2010 we will be off to Power Station for the Rebel Motorsport Club annual Rolling Road Day. No excuses we are giving you plenty of notice to book time off work write your sick notes and get your cars ready for another great Rolling Road day out, with a short country drive for a meal afterwards, and not forgetting a few photos and video footage along the way. Again we have a maximum of 35 places available to us, costing £35 each All cars are welcome whether it be a 4WD, RWD or FWD. Full payment of £35 is needed to secure your place (to be paid by or before the 30th October 2010) click here for payment details Paypal is now available on [email protected] By all means show your interest however your name will not be added to the list until the deposit has been paid (as always payment will secure your place) To those of you who just want to watch Can I just point out this is a partaking event... as most of you know there is only a small viewing area and I think it is very unfair if pple just turn up to watch after all the club is all about joining in and taking part. So please dont turn up just to watch. By all means for those that dont want to run on the rolling road you can always meet up with us later on for the pub lunch. Just contact me for details. Meeting points. Magor Services (M4 J23A) leaving at 07:00am Michael Wood Services on the M5 (between Junctions 13 and 14) leaving at 07:45am PowerStation, Tewkesbury (just off J9 of the M5) Please try and be there for 08:30am so that we can sort out the preliminaries in readiness to start at 09:00am. The below link will be updated with all details and maps. (to be updated) http://rebelmotorsportclub.co.uk/events/
