  1. Any advice how to mend dab aerial cable?
  2. Thanks for advice. I’ve checked everywhere and I found 2 cables snapped in right hand side rubber. 1 I think it’s missing neutral, but another one is dab aerial cable. Any idea how to join or replace the dab cable? I’m not sure if it’s soldered to the rear windscreen. This dab cable is in one piece straight to the radio?
  3. Hi. I’ve the same problem. I’ve checked everything. Fuses, relay, all wiring. I’ve checked power on the rear windscreen On both sides I’ve power on connectors, but heating still not working. I’ve checked for error codes, but it doesn’t show anything. Did you found solution for it? Thanks for help.
  4. Hi. I’ve some issues with clutch pedal. I’ve looseness on return which is very annoying. I can say it’s about 1-2cm. A few months ago I’ve replaced whole clutch kit including flywheel. I suspect vacuum pump failure as I don’t get any fault codes. I can hear different engine work sound when I waiting on red lights with brakes on and when I release the pedal. Also brakes are quite hard. I’ve done simple test pumping brake pedal while an engine was off hold it and started the engine. The pedal went down a bit. I’ve no brake fluid loss. I started thinking about replacing the vacuum pump, and found vacuum pump 03L 145 100 J it’s quite expensive. I just wonder if anyone replaced it with eg pierburg one which is less than 1/3 off price genuine one? Also I found the pierburg one cover all versions of vag vacuum pumps. So I started thinking maybe it is possible to use genuine vacuum pump but with different end letter? Superb 2014 2.0 tdi cr 140 cffb.
  5. Hi. Just replaced nearly whole rear suspension, just left springs. Went for the alignment, and guy adjusted it just front right camber stayed on red as he said there’s no adjustments. He also said to not to worry about. But it is in red and I still have it in my mind. Car is driving fine. Thanks for advice.
  6. Skoda superb mk2 fl 3T5. 2014 2.0tdi 140hp. 6 speed manual. Engine CFFB gearbox NFU. Best Regards
  7. Hi. My flywheel died so started collecting parts for replace. Could anyone advise me what kind of bolts are on driveshafts on gearbox side as I’d like to replace them as well. Also torque needed for tightening flywheel, driveshafts bolts, gearbox and clutch assembly. Best Regards.
  8. Car never been remapped. It has stock 140bhp. I’ve rattling noises from gearbox side, especially when I join the traffic and have to release clutch pedal on 1st gear it creates rattling noises and banging. Vibrations are all over the car bodywork. I’ve installed 2 sets of Sachs 2290601145 which been installed correctly. I’ve spoken with Skoda and they can provide DMF and clutch kit for about £1000 which is well above the market price.
  9. Hi. Could anyone tell me what clutch kit and dmf is fitted genuinely by Skoda? I’ve replaced 2 sets of dmf’s already. They last about 20k miles. Both sets were made by Sachs. I start considering swap to solid wheel, as replacing dmf every 2-3 years is quite expensive. Where is best place to get dmf and clutch parts? Euro car parts? Gsf? Or direct from Skoda? Thanks.
