Superb mk3 sportline boot panels
Sorry, does MY2020 just mean it was built/registered in 2020? I have a sportline plus Hatch registered in Nov 2020 so is mine also a MY2020?

Superb mk3 sportline boot panels
They are fitted on some hatchbacks but not others apparently. I wasn't sure if they were just missing but as someone previously mentioned, I do not see any fastenings or latches for the covers. Thanks

Superb mk3 sportline boot panels
Hi, apologies if this has been covered elsewhere on the site but I couldn't find anything. I am wondering if I can get covers for these openings in my boot as I have seen on some other superbs or are these an open version? I have had a quick check to see if those plastic rails at bottom can be removed but didn't want to cause any damage. Thanks

Thanks very much everyone - got the full size spare sorted now with the cut to the plastic trim. Appreciate the advice available on this site.

Superb Mk3 spare wheel
Is it ok to make this cut with the trim in place? I would prefer not to have the extra effort of removing and reinserting the trim? thanks

Superb Mk3 spare wheel
Thanks - so do you think th 16" kit would work best with 19" vega wheel as spare? Aluminium Rim 19" VEGA Škoda 3V0071499GHA7 (skoda-parts.com)

Spare Wheel kit for 2020 superb sportline plus hatch
Hi Recently bought used 20 plate superb sportline plus hatch which came with puncture kit rather than spare wheel. I would like to purchase spare wheel kit but having trouble finding best option for my car. I contacted skoda customer service asking which is the best option for my car and after a long delay, they replied saying there isnt one??!! My car has 19" vega alloys and I understand I wont be able to get same size spare wheel to fit inside wheel well in boot. I contacted local dealer and he said there are 2 options, one being a 16" spare and the other being a 18" spare which will be thinner than the 16". I am not sure what would be the best option out of these 2 - i understand the spare is only to get you to a tyre shop and should only be used on the back wheels but was wondering what most people go with as a spare for a car with 19" wheels. I was intitially looking at this - https://skodapartsdirect.co.uk/product/skoda-superb-hatch-2016-present-spare-wheel-and-tool-kit/ but just wanted to double check if this would be the best option. thanks

About to buy 2020 superb 2.0 TSI sportline plus DSG
It's in their shiremoor branch which is near Newcastle. It won't show on their site as it's reserved. It's almost identical to this but has 3000 more miles and it's £1500 cheaper https://www.arnoldclark.com/used-cars/skoda/superb/2-0-tsi-190-sport-line-plus-5dr-dsg/2020/ref/arnbh-u-50871 I haven't seen any mention of service history yet, I have asked for it but waiting on an answer

About to buy 2020 superb 2.0 TSI sportline plus DSG
Thanks for the info. So this is from Arnold Clark so it's not approved used. It's £17500 for a 20 plate with 59k miles so seems like a good deal on paper but currently not sure what the service history is etc. I have asked about it but haven't been given an answer yet.

About to buy 2020 superb 2.0 TSI sportline plus DSG
Hi thanks for the reply. Its not Skoda approved used - they seem to be a bit out of my price range by about 5k as far as i can see. The recall is, i believe, relating to the heat shield between brake cylynder and exhaust or something like that. i was unable to confirm this as i dont have the VIN but the dealer has confirmed.

About to buy 2020 superb 2.0 TSI sportline plus DSG
Hi Looking at the above car from a non Skoda dealership because its the model i fancy and is within budget. The car has 56k miles and was registered in November 2020. have discovered before purchasing that it has an outstanding recall. The dealership have advised they are going to get this sorted before they sell me the car but I was wondering what other checks i should be making with them? The car is currently at a branch quite far from me so they will be transporting it to a local branch where I will be able to test drive. i have taken an optional 2 year warranty from them as i am a bit wary of having to shell out for gearbox repairs. i have asked them to confirm the following but wondering if there is anything i have missed out ... service history of this car as I am interested to know if it's had the oil changes etc at the recommended intervals and I am also wondering when this car is due a cam/timing belt change? Confirm all the electronics are working including Cruise Control, DSG mode selects, DSG paddles, heated seats and steering wheel.& the sound system? Are the tyres in good condition? is the steering wheel perfectly straight when driving forward and is there any pulling to the side when hands are off wheel? Is the Air Con fully gassed? Does this car use AdBlue and if so is it full? Any advice or feedback welcome. thanks
