  1. I have a 190 L&K DSG. On a run of this length i would be able to get 45 mpg without trying. Taking it steady but keeping to the speed limits can easily exceed 50mpg. The best I've seen is about 55 on a long run. I've had the car for 18 months now and the (lack of) fuel consumption has been a great surprise to me. I came from a Ford Puma 155 manual and I can honestly say the Superb takes less fuel in all circumstances.
  2. The part number of the set I fitted was 5E1064205 (two pedals, RHD). They were listed as to fit a Fabia, obviously Skoda pedals are similar across ranges.
  3. Cars with Travel Assist have an additonal button on the steering wheel. On the right hand side there is an extra fourth button, top right on the cluster, with a car/road/clock icon. Cars without Travel Assist have a blank in the same place. Take a good look at the Autotrader/advert photos and this can usually be seen. (This function is in additon to 'standard' ACC)
  4. Do you have lots of speed 'cushions' in your area? The sort that are a pair of lumps in the road rather than a strip across the whole width. Just a thought. Straddling them with a wheel either side would over time cause this sort of wear; it happened to a friend of mine who lived in an area of south London with these sort of speed cushions on all the minor roads. He also ended up with some sort of suspension (bush) wear that might have exacerbated the problem.
