  1. I have an Octavia IV 2020, it was affected by endless reboot, the MIB was also switching on when the car was switched off , I have resolved the issue by replacing the battery since that maintenance action I had not a single reboot. I was a little bit disappointed on left the car at the dealer to just perform a software update which cost up to 100€ for few minutes, my car is out of guaranty, I don't know why my car is not receiving the OTA. by reading the improvement on last FW 1985 I have found that there is a fix which should improve the handling of car failures/alerts. I have also connected an OBD interface and the only active event was the Start & Stop anomaly the MIB version is 1969, which is quite new , after the battery replacement I had not a single reboot, so when your MIB start on reboot maybe there is some equipment which is sending error or alerts and the MIB does not handle well them.
  2. yesterday I got an OTA update, it was about an "analytics app" , driving home I had not a single reboot, hope that on my case it was the root cause. I have noticed that the MIB was less stable when the internet connection was working also with old sw release 1696, with the old version by setting the privacy to the most restrictive one it was not rebooting.
  3. Yes, It Is the one I used to clean the screen and also the on/off button and the volume bar, maybe it was a case I had not a single reboot.
  4. Has anyone tried cleaning the screen with a product for glasses? I noticed that after cleaning the screen and touch buttons, I no longer have rebooting issues. I have the software 1941 ad my car was rebooting often, it was not having a reboot with old software (1668) ad privacy mode (no internet services enabled)
  5. Try on switch off the network connection on MIB, you have to set it on privacy mode, I did it and I got not a single reboot or strange behaviour in last 2 days
  6. it is the new octavia mkIV, I got it at the end of 2020 , and yes I can confirm there is no wireless Android Auto or remote AC. I'm very disappointed, I have to complain with my dealer since I left my cart 3 times for maintenance and they never manage that sw update on infotainment system, I got them by phone and for my can the FW 1969 is not available, I have been told that they will set the 1941.
  7. In my car, I have software version 1668, which seems very old. I'm experiencing a lot of system reboots, and the only workaround seems to be disabling all online services by setting the most restrictive privacy mode. I have requested an appointment with the dealer. Last year, I was told that they managed all possible software updates, but that doesn't seem to be true; software version 1668 appears to be older than 1 year. 8. I guess it is not related to the temperature; yesterday, I had the issue early in the morning when it was not too hot. Since yesterday afternoon, I have set the infotainment to the most restrictive privacy mode, and since then, I have not had a single reboot or any issue until today. The final test will be when I pick up the car in the afternoon. I'm in Sicily, so at noon, it's about 30 degrees, and the car under the sun will become very hot. If the infotainment stays stable without a reboot, then it will surely be a software issue. I guess the SW I have on the car is too old 1668 , instead I see last one is the 1969. 9. I have the same the same display hardware/software H44 - 2088 and I have the same issues with infotainment reboot or audio goes down, I have requested a review I have 6 month of warranty
