Front Strut Brace?
I realised, I never posted my experience after I got the braces and links installed. I can't really tell which one made a difference as I installed the rear and front swaybars + the strut brace all at once. The car is definitely a lot sharper in bends and corners about 10-15 km/h faster than before with no effort. The bar links on the other hand...the front ones are either a bad batch or just bad quality...had to go twice as the nearside kept getting loose. If I had to do it all over again, I won't upgrade the links unless I decide to lower the car beyond what is practical. Overall, paired Michelin PS4s rubber, it's made the right amount difference in handling and I don't think I lost much on comfort considering our French country roads.

Nice! I see you've also gone for the rubber mats and the tunnel cover. :) How do you keep it so clean with 3? I have 2 and it's tough...

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Nice one! How long did it take you? Been meaning to do mine for ages...

What have you done to your Superb III today?
We finally had a week of dry spell, so I got round to washing the good old Superb. I also treated her to a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. That's at least + 20hp in street cred. l

I just got some Hardrace goodies in - front and rear sway bars and links and a front strut brace. Will book the car for fitment and alignment next week! Can't wait to drive it after.

Front Strut Brace?
Cheers for that. I was also not entirely sure about the underbody braces and that seals it. I will order the swaybars, links and tower brace this week. I really hope there will be some (even marginal) gains in rigidity.

Front Strut Brace?
I am curious, too. I am thinking of ordering their bracing kit, including the sway bars, the bar links, strut brace, etc., but not sure if they are worth it. Have you taken the plunge yet?

Did you see any improvement vs the OEM discs and pads?

Really? The 147kw? Some time back I tried configuring it on the Skoda website, but had no luck and also couldn't find a used one and I vaguely remember reading that this particular engine and trim weren't available... I might as well be wrong. Still, I don't regret the trip to Germany - some 600 km of Autobanh to clear up the DPF

I recently took the plunge and bought a piggy back and a pedal box from DTUK. They absolutely transformed the car in the most aggressive settings. I always found that the pickup was somewhat sluggish, but with the "extra" power and adjustable pedal response, the car is a lot more fun to drive on the narrow b-roads around where I live.

That's exactly what I did. Got a 2022 Mk3 FL from across the border in Germany and it has the 2.0 TDI, which AFAIK is not available in France. Luckily, it only cost about 1k in eco tax compared to nearly 8k for the equivalent petrol version. Only owned it for 8 months, but so far I had no problems. I also didn't really like look of the new line of Octavias and Superbs, so it worked out well in the end.
