  1. Yes, its H56. I was 1969 which was updated to manually.
  2. I can answer my own question now I've found the other thread
  3. Today I have been given an OTA option to upgrade to 1985, I'm currently on 1969 has as anyone else been offered an OTA upgrade?
  4. This is my car, I took it up to @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits where they fitted blind spot assist and a rear view camera both work great and have a factory like finish. Since having the software updated I've had no problems with error messages or the infotainment system forgetting my favourites. I can't recommend Kieran highly enough, he really knows his stuff and it was well worth the 7 hour round trip to get these mods done.
  5. So I took mine up to @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits where I had blind spot assist and a rear view camera fitted along with every software update that was available applied. The infotainment system is now on 1969 and all my problems seem to be rectified if anything changes I'll update here.
  6. I've recently purchased my Octavia and I'm finding that I keep getting a pop up saying that my settings are being updated. I then add everything again to how I like it and the next time I start the car I get the same pop up. I'm currently on software version 1788 would these pop ups be related to this software version? If they are related then I would want to update to the latest software version (1969) but I'm unsure whether I need to do all the incremental updates in between or where to find all the files I would need. Perhaps visiting a dealer may be the best course of action.

Hi All, New to the group having recently retired and having to hand back the company van after 28 years I've had to buy a car. I decided on a 21 plate Octavia SE L 2.0 TDI. Off to have a look around forum and read up on what I've bought.
