Hi guys! Can someone please tell me if 225/40/18 with a offset of 45 fit MK2 octavia

2009 Skoda Octavia Lights only working on drivers side and won't turn off or on by switch.changed switch...but same thing again. Also could be related....no power at obd port.fuses seem ok in engine bay and in panel by side of dash where drivers door closes.any ideas anyone ?? Grateful for any thoughts😁 thanks I advance.

I've been offered some inexpensive wheels and tyres they are a good distance from me.so has anyone fitted 235/50)18s to a MK2 Skoda Octavia. It's a 1.4tsi but I don't personally think that this is relevant to tyre/wheel size . If yes what has happened? Any rubbing on turning and issues over bumps or sudden road dips and botteming out ? Thanks

SKODA OCTAVIA 1.4 TSI ! ! ! I have just recently changed my troublesome Skoda fabia 1.2 TDI !! for the Skoda Octavia 1.4tsi it starts first time every day.very reliable!! Engine is smooth and picks up really well.but I don't like it.its got me done for speeding twice in the first month🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣apart from that??? It's ok,but I might have to put new springs in mine as I have a bit of body roll it's a 2009 model...it's now 2025 so the springs have had a lot of use.but honest opinion....it's a fairly decent motor ,,a bit understated compared to performance.sporty stealth😁 hidden talent disguised as a nerd.

Hi,did you ever get it sorted? I've had same issue...I've changed wastegate actuator,glow plugs,fuel rail pressure sensors,n75,turbo boost pressure sensor.cleaned dpf filter.new filters for fuel and air,changed the oil.thanks

Some places are really stringent on things like correct fluid levels.depending on where you go.dont take the risk,top up your fluids before mot,,saves on petrol money having to take it back for retest 😊

I am new here so forgive me.i have no idea what the hell these numbers mean and just want some slightly bigger wheels that improve my boaty lean on corners.i have added 15mm rear and 12mm front spacers (they came up cheap) which has improved handling a bit. i'd also also like to fill the arch slightly but not overboard,possibly 17s? Any advise please.😊 Thanks

Anyone else had trouble finding 6R0959654 STEERING ANGLE SENSOR/ SLIP RING/CLOCK SPRING ???

Does anyone here have a ECU diagram? My scan took says no communication with ECU but it allows me to check certain things and turn of certain faults? I'm really confused...unless there is more than one live and the one I need to clear turbo actuator fault is not connected or snapped? I've checked all fuses and all seems ok.ive changed the turbo actuator as my scanner said it had a fault but I still have no turbo.i suspect code store in ECU but I cannot connect to ECU...so it says.anyone got any ideals? Any help gratefully received.cheers😊

Hi,it's a 1.2 TDI.I do quite a bit of long distance driving (100 miles a time) and generally use a (bit) of right foot!! But it's a used car and I've had it less than a year.my turbo valve (n95) was clicking after a few weeks and I wasn't sure what it was.i eventually changed the part but I still have no oomph.(As much as I was getting from 1.2🤣🤣 ) I'll have a look at actuator to see if it moves.hopefully it can be solved.😊
