  1. Our 2021 golf sounded like a bucket of nuts and bolts after 3 years and only 16k miles. Hope this new FL Skoda isn't in for the same fate
  2. We did sw England to the Austrian Alps in the summer in a mk8 golf and will be doing it again next year in the Octavia. Already know it's going to be a more comfortable journey. Just feels much more solidly built and smoother. The adaptive cruise control with the lane assist is excellent in the EU on busy, single lane main roads, of which there are many. I always turn lane assist off in the uk
  3. You think they'd add features rather than remove them wouldn't you
  4. Wonder if it has anything to do with being a hybrid or not... The video manuals on the Skoda website is shown on a phev as there is a battery charge level screen to select if you want...
  5. This is absolutely infuriating. I don't have any page appear in either of the dials that says settings or configuration. There are just 3 options in each dial... The left is just a couple of options for fuel consumption data and an oil temperature guage (annoying as oil temp is permanently displayed down the left side of/off the screen) and the right just shows a compass, android auto and the media/radio.
  6. I can change "some" options but bit configure what options I can change it to. Like you can in a golf
  7. I have the facelift and there's an option to turn off the charger in the settings. Handy if it bothers you
  8. I have exactly the same problem here. Only a few options to scroll through with no way to configure what other ones are available. There is no green right arrow as mentioned here and in the video manuals . Infuriating
