Hi All, My Fabia 1.2's Power steering warning light has started to come on at recent cold startups. If you turn off the engine then re-start it, the warning light disappears, on a hot start this problem never occurs. Has anyone else experienced this type of problem? Cheers IainG

Thanks AP, much appreciated. 40.5 avg mpg?? Did you find a /gearbox design engineer at VW who managed to supply you with a higher 5th gear, if so give me his/ her name & number. It revs its heart out in top at 3000 rpm. A drop to 2800 to supply same top-end would be beneficial. Have a good day, once again thanks for your help... IainGill.

Good day fellow Skoda owners. This question may have been asked many times before, therefore please excuse the uneducated. I own a Fabia Comfort 1.2 HTP, 2003 vintage. Very recently the oil change reminder flashed up on the console so I took the vehicle to my local oil & filter change shop. The vehicle was delivered to me and all was well or so I thought. The oil change reminder is still flashing for 3 minutes. Is there a way too reset this manually or do I have to take it to the nearest Skoda dealer and ask them very politely to do the same. Any help you can offer will be most appreciated.

I'm in the same boat, just picked up an immaculate 2003 Fabia 1.2 Comfort, would like to know anyone in the area who's in the know about Skoda's in general.

It's a 1.2 Comfort. it had its last oil change about 2000 miles ago. I've checked all connections to expansion tank & pump, they appear to be Ok. I can't fault the car at this stage with exception to a very, very slight whine from the g/box. It's not any particular gear which is why at the cars mileage I cannot complain.

Hi Members, I have recently purchased an immaculate 2003 Fabia Comfort 1.2 HTP with only 40,000 miles on the clock that starts perfectly. Can anyone advise on any anomalies, common problems with this particular vehicle type? Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
