  1. I have to correct myself. My car gets really dirty. The Kessy opening function stops for several days. The closing worked at always. It came back to normal inmediately after the carwash...🙄 So the Kessy stops in public parkings, or when it gets dirty or anytime when it would be usefull...
  2. I had the same issue. Ignition on, select the side (for me is R), then change to reverse. Nothing happened, just a really small movement of the mirror. After I realised, you have to set the mirror (down) position in this condition, using the mirror set knob. Since then the function works perfectly, the car saved the down and the normal position both.
  3. Many thanks @Ootohere for the comment. This monday I did a 11%-95% charging, the 11%-80% took 44 minutes so almost the double than the reference. And this speed is quite permanent on DC between 10-80%. After several charging, it seems this is the real capability of this car... The car and the charger as well is always informing you about the actual charging capacity, and this value was never higher than 21kWh. Factory values: The usable capacity: 100% = 19,7 kWh so 10-80% means 13,79kWh / 26 min results 31,82kWh in average in the best range. It is unclear what value is displayed by the car and the charger, since ~12% charging loss is coming into the equation on DC. According the Skoda communication I assume they are stating the real charge and not the consumed from the charger. My values 15,22kWh / 44 min results 20,75 kWh in avg which is corresnponds with my experience.
  4. Hi Everyone, what maximum charging speed do you experienced with the iV? Officially it capables up to 50kWh or in newer press releases up to 40kWh. I have mine from november, but the maximum peak speed was ~21 kWh. I know in wintertime the battery is cold, therefore charging at slower speed, but after a long driving, in 12 C external temperature, it struggles around ~20kWh. It is independent from the charger, even when I'm using a 175kW charging station alone. In this case a normal "rapid" charging takes ~1 hour instead of 20-25 minute which was promised.
  5. I never tried that function. I had no trust from the begining. Also there are some suspicion, that this function responsible for critical 12V battery drains. I think so the kessy issue is a software bug, maybe will be better within some months (Passats having the same issue).
  6. I always experience this behaviour everytime I visit any shopping centre or frequented parking lot. First the virtual pedal and boot lid opening button stops, then all the door. Car can only be opened by FOB key... At home it works perfectly at always, independently from fog, ice, snow etc.. It seems the car identifies the other car opening-closings as a hacking attack and disables some function...
  7. I drove on a bad road today and came into my mind to observe the "DCC noise". With muted hifi. It was in comfort mode, the road noises from rear were a little bit higher than from the front, but it was far from annoying, strange or loud. It was definitively quieter, than my previous octavia. My home area is full of with speed bumps, it also handling them without noise. It was manufactured at ~cw37
  8. Just to shorty intriduce myself. I'm driving Octavias for 15 years. From this december I've got an L&K Superb iV. Definitively it is the most complicated "something" I've ever met. The car having a new small "failure" at each day, which lasts only for couple of hours. So it's not boring at all;)
