Superb Mk iv Hybrid 12 volt battery.
You've right, it also charges during AC charging or whatever the BMS decides to do it so. I mixed with the AC/Heating which doesn't works during the AC charging.

Mysterious message
You are pretty lucky with this message. In Hungarian the first part of the sentence is completely non-sense. Unfortunately it is not possible to translate to english (due english language limitation). But until now, there were no people who can understand what this message about. Now to have the english sentence, at least having some clue about 🤣 Nevertheless the message appears randomly. Some days each time I place the phone to the charger pad, other days there are no message at all🤷♂️

“New settings are available for your profile”
No, after the 90EE this issue never came back. Since july I haven't got any new setting screen. It is a quite weird, Ákos's car excatly one year younger than mine, with new hardware and newer software versions.

Kodiaq PHEV Service Campaign PV4 (90EE)
I'm also very disapointed due forced battery saving. Rarely charging over 90%, but sometimes I forget to change the limit and it drives me crazy. If I realise in time, I can change the limit from the Skoda app as well. I had the new update available issue before the software update. Now there are no update message until now (2 months). What is getting to worse is to maintain the battery level in manual mode. Especially on long trips it tries to figure out the ammount of recuperation, and consumes this energy in the early phase of the trip. E.g. -10-15% is consumed, then end of the trip only 5% recuperated. Therefore it drained 10%, by the setting maintain the charge level....The only solution is to highly focus to the engine rev, and kick the pedal immediately when it tries to switch on electric...sometimes it means 15 kick/minute... I do agree, the hardware is pretty nice, but the software was written by one of the competitor, who wants to bankrupt the skoda...piece of ****

Phantom braking without audiovisual alarm
Hi Rigor, yes your undestanding is correct. It shift to "P" autmatically when the car in movement. And no assist warns before or after... The car was in the service shop because of this issue (and 94EW +90EE) one week before. The door sensor was my idea also, but once the car in movement and you are open the door, there is no such reaction. Only when the car stationary and you trying to start it switch back to "P" and prevents the movement. Also warning signal provided when you are opening the door in movement. Seatbelts are fastened, doors closed properly. I believe the same braking happens at higher speeds also, but the safety electronic of the gearbox refuses the 'P' command over 6kmph.

Phantom braking without audiovisual alarm
Many thanks for the feedback. I usually switching off the maneuver braking right after start, and it solve your issue. But there is a major difference when any of the Assists initiating braking and my situation. Since the Assists always provide alarm signal and displays on the dash before braking. In my case, it happening in forward on public roads and there are no indication at all. Just braking and at low speed sets the gearbox to P itself (the car is still moving when switching it to P).

Phantom braking without audiovisual alarm
Hi, does anybody experienced phantom braking without any alarm indication? Mine at least once per day, when I approach to a specific intersection in the afternoon, below 6kmph activates the Parking mode without any alarm indication. You can imagine, how annoying and dangerous it is... Also sometimes at highway exits, when I using the recuperation only, it activates the full brake for a second. The ABS also activating. There are no alarm at all. The car continous as nothing happeed after all... It has all the possible software updates recently...

Service Campaign 94EW
There is a clear indication when the 10 hrs software update starts. The Skoda app reporting failures. E.g. climate control not available etc.. Usually they are trying to do it 2 times before they need factory assistance. But yes, make friends with the loan car;)

Kodiaq PHEV Service Campaign PV4 (90EE)
Hi, It was done on my car together with 94EW. Several controller were not accepted the upate and the car kind of died during the software update, and it took 8 workdays to get back in live. It was done remotely by a Skoda engineer from the factory after the locals were failed. Most of the faults are fixed. The car feels even more precise and balanced now. (E.g. lane assist doesn't jerk the steering wheel like a idiot, it stays calmly on the midle of the road)... I do not know is there any connection, but now the seat adjustment having a 3-5s delayed recaction and the seat ventillation even weaker now.

Service Campaign 94EW
The complete procedure took 8 days. Finally a guy from the Skoda factory support rebuilt the software package one by one remotely. There was no need to replace the controllers...

Service Campaign 94EW
Some update: The car went to the Skoda at Monday morning (07.07.2025). I've got the phone this afternoon, after several unsuccessfull software update trial, the dealer tries to get some factory assistance. It seems several control units needs to be replaced one by one. It can takes additional 2-3 weeks... Basically it was an 94EW+90EE issue.

Kodiaq PHEV Service Campaign PV4 (90EE)
Mine is just getting the 90EE and 94EW +the fixes for half page failure list. They are estimating 4-5 days, mainly software updates.

Service Campaign 94EW
Mine is from 2024.09. Having multiple software related issues +94EW. Service states, the repair would take 3-4 days.

Gearbox Response
I have a PHEV and also tried the Diesel ones. The diesel ones are having annoying and laggy gearbox compare to the PHEV. Especially in stop&go situation at junction, the phev just works, at diesel you have calculate with lagging response.

Virtual Cockpit - Android Auto integration
I remeber that I saw this combination. I tried to set it and take a photo to you, but to be honest, there is no option to do it so. It is an annoying bug for me. Once I set the navigation then stop the car for a short period of time without locking the doors, at restart the navi came into the left hand panel, and there is no way to remove it. I have to cancel the route in the Waze and set it again to have off. So end of the day, yes it is possible, but it is a bug. p.s.: The real speed limit was 110 km/h on that section, but the skoda speed limit recognition is simply useless...

With the Waze it is working for me perfectly. Both the HUD and the left hand side panel able to indicate the next direction constantly. Never tried with Google maps.

Driving Modes
As I can see the issue: Do not forget the PHEV and the electric drivetrain. The Engine certeainly cannot be more powerful in sport mode(because of emission norms), but the electric drivetrain is strongly limited in the Superb (by software in hybrid mode) compared to the Passat. (Superb overall performance is 350Nm / passat 400Nm). The DUCA(passat) and DUCB(Superb) engines having the same max. 250Nm output, but DUCA can have higher effective rev. by +1000 - 500rpm which results the additional 27hp. Both car having excatly tha same electric drivetrain and gearbox. If you are checking the overall performance: 204hp vs. 272hp the answer is logical. (P/kw) = (T/N-m) * (N/rpm) / 9549 DUCA 177PS@5500-6000 rpm // 250Nm DUCB 150PS@5000 rpm // 250Nm So the Superb using only ~54hp from the electric drivetrain maximum compared to the passat which using ~95hp. It can be an undocumented feature or bug, but the Superb PHEV is stronger in sport mode especially in 100-to 200km/h range, without violating the emission rules.

Driving Modes
My PHEV behaves completely differently in sport mode. It has definitely greater power output than in normal mode, it can be measured on the acceleration, it not just the feeling.

Saving battery charge
Yes and No. There is an option to set manually the charge level which shall be maintained. Unfortunately it is working very poorly, and it can drain 1-4% at one trip. If it having any positive charge, it will consume it immediately. You can force the petrol engine only if you put it in sport mode and shortly kick the gas pedal every time, when it stopping the ICE. After a while the car recognize your will and stopping the ICE more rarely.

WiFi Charging
Until now I also experienced, there is no cooling for charger bay. Also cannot find any vent hole. Today was really sunny and 16 C. The AC started to cool actively. When I took off the phone, I felt, the bay is cool. So it seems, there is active cooling, but only if warm outside.
