WiFi Charging
If I recall correctly, in Mk4 they did not include a ventilation system for the storage unit between the front seats and the glovebox.

Another update: today I got 2 warning notifications while driving. I think the first one was an error about side sensors not working. It immediately displayed the second warning so I'm not sure. The second one was "proactive passenger protection restricted" error. Both cleared right after the warning. About 5 minutes later, while in stationary traffic, it activated the proactive passenger protection and tightened the seatbelts. It wasn't a pleasant experience. I had this twice before the software update. So I assume this is another bug which needs addressing. Also on the way back, I got the same two errors again and they disappeared immediately like the first one.

Can you share the location of this fan? I think it's not somewhere visible, right? I wonder if I have the same problem, since my phone behaves exactly the same.

Update from my car: I have the software update installed about a month ago. No failure notifications or failure to start since then. Hope it stays that way. Please note that my mileage is not high so this may not be the most reliable source of information.

KESSY Problem
Thank you fro the cleaning suggestion! That did the trick. I knew my car was a bit dirty but didn't think it would affect the door handle operation I also experienced this more than once at the shopping mall parking lots (expecially with the virtual pedal where it's most needed ). It makes sense that it's disabling itself. It's good to know that it's not another software bug. Speaking of bugs, how succesful are your cars about auto locking when you walk away? I learned not to trust it since it's pretty unreliable. Therefore useless.

KESSY Problem
Yes, that's exactly the same behaviour. But it first happened in a parking garage where there's no snow, fog or cold weather. Also I'm still having the issue so I believe if I take it to the dealer maybe they can find out what's wrong. I'm beginning to question Skoda's quality control...

KESSY Problem
Hi everyone. Until yesterday, I was able to open the car doors by placing my hand on the handle. However, it suddenly decided not to work anymore. I did not do anything out of the ordinary. Went to a shopping mall, came back to the car and it was not working. I thought it would be a temporary glitch so I waited until this morning to try again, but no luck. I tried turning the KESSY off and on, but it did not work. I'm able to lock the doors by placing my finger outside the handles. Although I normally don't use it, I tried the "open the doors when approached" option and it worked. It also locks the car when I move away (but this is also unreliable since I got the car. It maybe works %60 of the time). I haven't called the dealer yet in case there is something I can do to fix. Anyone had the same problem before?

Thank you both for your replies. I called the dealer to ask if there are any software updates to the infotainment system, but I wasn't able to talk with someone who knows. I'll keep trying and hopefully get a positive reply.

Thank you!!! I had checked every option but did not think that view was scrollable. That is some weird interface choice from Skoda. Also no mention of it in the manual. Anyway, thank you again, it was driving me crazy

WiFi Charging
I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and since the day I got the car, the wireless charging is pretty irregular. When I first place the phone, it starts charging without any problems. After a while it stops charging. Sometimes it continues right after it stops since I can see the phone screen turning on and display the charging animation. This can happen many times during one trip. And sometimes it displays a message saying it's not possible to charge the device. Afte a while it continues charging by itself. I had this behaviour both with and without cases. Also I was informed that the charging compartment had a cooling system and it's really necessary since wireless android auto and wireless charging significantly increases phone's temperature. But I was not able to see any cooling whatsoever. Any suggestions?

Software failure not so Superb
I had issues with assistant notifications (although very rarely) since I got the car in July. But one day towards the end of November, the car did not start displaying the same notifications. So I called the dealer and got an appointment in the middle of December (I live in Turkey by the way). They installed the update within a day and since then I didnt have any issues (apart from failure notifications indicating lack of visibility, which I guess is not related to the bug. It also went away quickly). After the update my software version is 2460 (didn't check it before unfortunately). I just have one problem: after the update the driving data in the dashboard only shows the average consumption since refueling, instead of since start. I tried every related option, but I'm pretty convinced it can't be done. Anyone else having the same issue? Or am I missing something?
