Thanks for Thank you for the information. I didn't know about this type of reusable dehumidifier for the car, only the single use boxed ones for the home. I,ve bought a "wannabe pingi" (wonder if there is a difference in quality or if you just pay extra for the name, any experiences?) curious if it makes a difference.

Actually the Fabia wasn't my first pick (I almost skipped it after first look) I quickly realized that the choices and low prices of 2015 micro cars were gone with the wind. Made no sense going so small with such pricetags and weak engines! After my first search through different brands I had an eye on the I20. But the more I read about the Fabia the more I ended up liking it.

First working day with the new car. Looked forwards to driving more than just a km or two in town. Approx 33 km to work and...of course.... It was snowing! Clean car already gone. 😞not quite the trip I was longing for. Anyways....I could try out the heated mirrors!... Yeah...what did I find still activated in the evening when parking the car at a store....yeap... The heat... Oops. 🫣😂

I was wondering about the same thing and found this thread via google! I'm not really sure I got much wiser than before reading this.... But kinda sounds like I'm not missing out on much here....😐 I don't get the point of this option.

@Nta16 All good Well, I have had my own car (from brand new) for almost 10 years. But it was a Ford KA 2015. There is not much "car" in such a tiny thing compared to the new cars today. A lot has happened since then. I feel like I have to learn to drive all over again and feel like a grandma when driving🫣 The Fabia feels and sounds so different! Takes some time to get use to and feel confident again. Believe me, had I not looked in the manuals I would have had tons of questions 🥴

It is neither against any law to give people a chance. It's one of my very first questions...Had it been my 10th "silly" question in a row I would have understood your comment.... Actually I (maybe one of few people) DO read the manual both on paper and the digital one and also use google to find answers to my arising questions. But I am JUST a human being, coming from a totally different world of a tiny basic car and with family illness and problems on top, I completely missed those lower icons no matter how or where Iooked. My bad. Sometimes you just go blind when searching or don't even think that's where the answer could be. @Stonekeeper, I appreciate your kind help and patience. I actually wondered why you showed me the same pict regarding mirror adjustment I had already seen in the manual, but it made me take an extra good look. And the answer was right there... 😖😣

You have so many Editions in the UK compared to here. When I searched for information on a Fabia4 and pictures before ordering (mid Sep) I wondered why I got so few matching hits in google when looking for "selection" edition. After a visit at the UK skoda site I realized how many combinations you have and that the edition names and contents do not match ours. And the model year also changes the names of the editions. Pretty confusing! I did not even receive my car before there were new changes here. E.g. 6gears are no longer available (now 5g cost the same as what I payed for 6) and they have added MC edition wich was not an option before.... Anyways....I've added pics of the plastic holder.

My dad drives Ford, he said the same thing, that they are combined in his Kuga. But since I ordered the front heat as extra and the heated mirrors were already a part of the "advanced" model it did not make much sense in my case. So simple and yet .... 🫣 Thanks again!

Ooooh...yep, I must be blind. I did not notice those extra icons on the bottom of the rotary knob at all. 🫣 I'll check on my way home 🧐😄 Thank you!

I haven't had the chance to try them out yet....I can't seem to find where to turn them on...I can only find front and rear window heater. Are they combined or am i blind? Anyone?

Well...at least you had one 🤪 now its gone. The removable plastic is still there next to the handbrake, but has been changed from bottle/cupholders to a rectangular space with some felt in the bottom, and a small front part with rubber, for coins or something small. (Fabia4 MY2025 115hp 6gears)

Quick and maybe silly question but...what does the MK stand for? Only thing coming to my mind is Monte Carlo, but that doest quite make sense... Should be MC. Just recieved my brand new Fabia (MY2025) few days ago so I suppose I "belong" to this part of the forum if i get any questions?

Szia! Welcome I'm also new here in my attempt of trying to understand my brand new Fabia. It has way more technology than what my soon 10 year old tiny ford ka had!
