A local independent said pump. Would you say to change the two temp sensors? What is the location of the two, is one by the radiator and one on the right side of engine behind that inlet pipe?

Hey all - ill get straight to it... Starting from cold is difficult, very lumpy/jumpy, and will stall a number of times before it begins to run, runs a bit lumpy for 10 or so secs then seems ok for the rest of the day, although does have a slightly erratic idle. And - temp needle instantly goes from 0 straight up to 90c, even on a cold morning start, monitored with torqueapp and does indeed show around 90c I was thinking temp sensors, but garage said no codes, and is thinking more fuel pump... does that sound logical? Wouldnt have thought a bad pump would give a false engine temp though. I need help, straight after xmas and funds are low, i just need to get it sorted and not be sent on a wild goose chase!
