Ohhh nah mate sorry to hear about your finger man, I was having the same problem along with running on 2 cylinders for a bit, hopefully you've got it cracked

Have you made sure and checked if you're coil packs are working properly? My car got upset last time I touched that stuff👍

Just wondering if anyone knows of any engines I can swap into my 1.2 htp as I am saving for a swap one day, it doesn't necessarily have to be skoda or volkswagon but if anyone has any ideas I'd be happy to hear them. Would prefer small ish displacements so my insurance won't take as big of a hit haha.

Haha yeah don't worry the engines got another 50k miles left in it so it won't be for atleast 3 years haha

Yeha I absaloutely love them, I'm actually part way through doing a vrs kinda conversion, except I'm not the world's biggest fan of the front bumper, so I'm on the look for some other aftermarket ones. Other than taht the engines are great too, reliable wee things.

Yeah I really like the darker colours on these, it makes them look a bit more special than they are haha

Fixing it was pretty annoying, but getting it on the road for a first car is great Was sat for 2 years and has lived on a bumpy dirt track it's whole life so you can imagine the condition, I had to change lots of parts, in the end i got a new coilover kit and vrs rims, I've got Pictures of it just before it got put on the road,and the drop at the front. took so much work but I'm really happy with the result 🎊

Just fully repaired my mk1 fabia Htp 1.2 after 2 years of sitting. It needed quite a bit of work including all new springs, Wishbones, subframe bracket on passenger side, tie rods, both new wings (fenders) and half of the tracking peices. I ended up replacing the springs for coilovers fitted for handling not looks. And ive just turned 17 and got it on the road, took it over 70mph for the first time in it's life, and the old spark plugs blew all the coil packs one by one 😭 all sorted and happy to be here now 👍 Might be seeing alot of cries for help from me hahaha.
