  1. I just feel that when I was getting the car they couldn't be nicer and once I'd drove away it's not the same when you ask for an appointment and say that they booked up for months get skoda assist out just seems bonkers like I've said previously I'm no mechanic but can change wheel if i had a spare and that only issue that worries me is topping up the oil and been told not good to put too much in skoda did top it up free after buying some 0w 20 I haven't used so can't complain about that even though they did give a bs story I'd overfilled it although when they sent me a report the only thing done was top the oil up according to the technician report. There's is more silly goings on after but it don't have anything to do with the car directly. Sorry for the long story guys but thanks for taking time to read and advice
  2. Just drove it up and down a straight road was a waste of time and they did that just to get shut of me. Didn't even pull into workshop to take a closer look the car drives fine in a straight line no warning lights and never missed a beat it's only when full lock on turning round I'm no mechanic but how I can describe the noise is I had a vw passat previous and needed wheel bearings it was the same sort of sound if that makes any sense apart from that I did have someone out from skoda assist but he wasn't too pleased when he came as I'd not broken down but did have a look at the wheels and said there was a small stone stuck in brake caliper and would be needing new pads in coming months the wheel wasn't taken off either so I've given up on it as I've got some personal issues to deal with and I'll end up getting stressed out over something small
  3. At skoda it didn't even go into the workshop and it's a motability car
  4. Has anyone ever got anything with the points on the green room in the skoda app as I had been saving points for some time collecting 1 point everyday and 10 points for 7 days in a row after getting enough for a prize I chose a towel and the app says awaiting collection from the location I selected and after going to collect my prize from skoda nobody had a clue what I was trying to get and unaware of the green room prizes a different member of staff I spoke with knew about the green room and went to get my prize only to find it wasn't there after the app says it is ready for collection and bear in mind its 30 miles each way to skoda dh Keith leeds and was told try again in a few weeks like my car runs on fresh air and I would spend more on petrol than the towel is worth so asked if they will post it but as again someone at skoda emailed me and will get back to me Tuesday it's now Thursday and nothing but was expecting much based on my previous experience the customer service is very poor yet again
  5. I have a 2024 skoda kamiq 1.0 se manual and I am fairly happy with it good on fuel and nice to drive only little problem is when I put full lock on the steering I hear a rubbing noise which I believe is some bearing that needs replacing but I'm not a mechanic so asked skoda to take a look and wasn't expecting any special treatment but trying to get an appointment is hard as they claim to be booked solid for months and get breakdown service out so I did and he wasn't happy about being called out as I had not broken down and that was a waste of time for both so I tried calling the skoda dealer where I got car from and again no joy getting an appointment sorted just same old excuse and call skoda assist again so decided to just turn up and get them to look and see the problem again after being there about 2 hours a technician did have a look but just drove it up and down the straight road opposite no turn on full lock to hear the noise I believe that they did that just to get rid of me as I was getting frustrated with the bs I seem to get at this skoda dealership as on a previous visit my dash came up with check oil level and didn't want to put too much in and skoda told me call in and we will sort it I even bought my own oil but didn't use it and I was there 3 hours for them to top oil up anyway after getting more frustrated waiting I was told that they had to remove some oil as I'd put too much in only to discover no oil was removed just topped up as the technician reports only thing done was top up so why lie and not just be truthful say we are busy please be patient as I didn't have a appointment that day booked since then I've not been back as now I'm having issues with green room rewards but that's another story
  6. Sounds just like skoda when you are getting the car they can't do enough for you make everything easy until you get the car and that's when you have to jump through hoops if there is any issues and tell lies to fob you off as they did with me my car had oil level light on and needed top up so I topped up but didn't want to put too much in so phoned skoda they said bring it in and we'll fill it properly only to be waiting 2.5 hours to top oil up and when i asked why it takes so long I was given a bs story saying that they had to take some out as I put too much in but on the technician report says nothing about taking oil out only needed topping up so why lie and just be truthful. It put me off going back
