  1. Hey man, I know you resurrected this post 2 years ago but I just want to say thank you! I couldn't get my 2017 FL working until I changed LA72-Lasttyp 26.
  2. Hi all I'm looking for advice but know this can be very divisive so apologies in advance! I'm looking to lower my Octavia, it's a Mk3 facelift 5E3 SE L 1.4 150ps. It's been remapped, added a Mk2 vRS spoiler. I know what you're thinking; why not buy a vRS? The answer; I might in the future, right now I like my 1.4! The problem is, comfort is still very important to me, I'm not considering track daying the car, I use my car for work which means I still need good ground clearance as work takes me to places with deep speed bumps, but I want the car to feel more sporty around corners as right now it's a boat and just for a sportier look. Lastly, I want to do it properly, I'm pretty set on coilovers and have landed on Bilstein B14 or KW Comfort Sport V2 (at the top of the budget) but would love people's opinions. I will be replacing my top hats and drops links too. Picture purely for vanity!

  4. Hi all Off the back of this post I decided to do this to my facelift 1.4 150ps SE L and it did not disappoint, it completely transforms the car. I did cheat and get someone to do it for me, apparently its a pain because the bolt holes line up exactly where the inner wall in the boot widens and separates from the outer wall making the holes hard to drill but anyone with a bit of skill should be able to do this, there's a great video of a guy on YouTube fitting a spoiler on a Mustang, he shows you how to make a "stencil" to perfectly line up the holes for drilling. I think the FL vRS taillights really work with the Mk2 spoiler as well though did have to get a custom adapter from a great guy off eBay. Coilovers next, then remap I think!
  5. Hello all, my names Paul, I've been a proud owner of an Octavia mk3 facelift 1.4 TSI 150PS for a little over a year now. It was a relatively high miler when I got her and she needed a little love. I've recently fitted a mk2 vRS spoiler thanks to a post in this forum for the inspiration, which has transformed the back of the car, along with mk3 vRS facelift taillights with wiring adapters to run them. I'm not done yet, I'll get some photos out there with the progress! Looking forward to seeing what else is possible here!
