Hi folks, We are holding a Memorial Meet at Gretna Outlet Village on the 13th November at 12pm for Andrew Macleod (leodhasach) who sadly passed away at the end of last month. All members are invited to attend and would be made more than welcome. We think this would be a fitting tribute to Andrew and know he would be moved knowing the impact he had on people. I dont think there is any reason to contact them, i.e. may upset them more? It shouldn't have any real bearing as its a group of guys getting together to remember him. If anyone wants to contact the family, it's up to the individual........... As its already been said, i dont think the family would mind plus they will have a lot to etc Just my thoughts

Date, time and location was talked about and decided apon tonight guys n gals 13th November, 12pm at Gretna Gate. We will be there for a good wee while, get something to eat and have a good chat

Not sure on the "B" either tbh........... How about a picture of Andrew on that graphic OR just use the image of the car with the dates and name, without the background? Think that would look tidier and wouldn't look as "busy" just a thought

Numbers are looking good! As a date, i was thinking 13 Nov which gives us a bit of time to get more numbers and organise work/childcare/other things. Would be really good if we can push the numbers higher and get attendee's from all over Moffat would be good, i was thinking Gretna, good run for both sides of the border Was also thinking if Grizzle can post up on this thread the pic of Andrews car with the dates on the bottom, everyone print out a copy and put it on the car so everyone knows that we're all together etc? just a thought............... I'm thinking we should have a memorial meet for Andrew (leodhasach) who tragically died on Friday :'( So far some of the Scottish contingent are meeting this sunday, so we could possibly put our heads together and have a think of where and when to have a meet for Andrew. As a suggestion, close to the border so any members from the opposite side of the wall wanting to attend, will be made more than welcome obviously and this HOPEFULLY will make it easier for everyone to find. All those showing interest in attending, please add your names to THIS THREAD so we can keep track of numbers and put all the appropriate information in one place.
