The ota is not that accurate. It is possible to do the update yourself. I don't have the software anymore. It is written here on the forum how to. Change of the screen is really simple but a good screen will cost around 400 to 600 euro. New around 1000 to 1200 Hope you will found a solution. Otherwise the volume slider disconnect. Yep that is correct. The hardware Version h44 is the problem. The H49 hardware Version is build in end 2023 and newer. You can replace them without any problems. I have mine for 10 months now. Untill now no problems

1989 is the newest version.

Maybe a reset will help. Only thing that you must become headuser again. After reset. Maybe then it will install all apps again.

Unpack the software on a formatted usb stick copy the two files only on the stick. Put in in the car and follow the options on your screen. Leave ignition on and keep it on. Or let motor running. Takes around 30 a 40 min.

It is smoother then the old versions. Graphic is better. It works and runs faster is my opinion

First you remove the black cover at the back off the screen. Straight up. Then remove carefully the Strip from the passenger side to under the screen. Use a plastic removel tool. In top there are two screws and left and right from the screen there are screws. 4 in total. If you want to disconnect the slider leave the plugs in place. You can turn the screen around. Then remove the 6 or 8 small torx screws. Look at the pictures here with connector you need to unplug. Hope you have something with this explanation.

Yeah correct but it is not the software that causes the problems. The main computer is oke. The screen hardware with the bugs is not communicating with the computer in a right way

Most of the problems are in the screen hardware. H44 and H47 having the most problems. From H49 are oke. After software always do a factory reset and make yourself head-user again. Then the problems must be solved

If you do a factory reset the new software stays in place. Only thing you need to make your self head-user again. Then the problem should be solved.
